    Yes.

Two screwed into the cowl and the one I posted above.

I think you misunderstood besides the 2 studs in the cowl there are one each that go into the corners of the hood for a total of three across the hood like the middle one. I just learned this on the last one we took apart. when we added them back in quite surprised how it holds the back of the hood.

I have never heard of this. I've only seen a center one in every hood I've had here.

I think I speak for the group when I say we'd like to see pictures of what you're conveying.

The assembly manual only shows the center one.

On the ends are the ones that screw into the cowl.

We all agree there are two stops that screw into the cowl, but I'm asking about the 3 rubber bumpers across the back of the hood? I'm only aware of the center one.

Yes. My point (maybe nkt made well:)) was they'd be redundant & for that matter nowhere for them to make contact.

Taking apart the car it had all three. Built in Framingham. The outers touched. The holes are there. feel like we highjacked the thread might want to make new one to discuss further. Don't know if it wrong or right but it's functional. The hood kit i bought awhile back I think CARS came with three. at the time I had NO idea where they went until this last car.

I received the License plate Rubber Bumpers from CARS today. To me they look to small to stay in place properly. Unfortunately, I don't have a bumper here to try them. . . . Anyone purchase these and actually install them?

See pictures of originals next to the ones from CARS.

You can clearly see the thickness difference of the area that fits through the hole in the bumpers. In my opinion these are the same ones offered by AMK which we've tried YEARS ago and they did not work. They don't stay in place because the lip is to small to catch the bumper.

This is the kind of crap that got me in this business years ago with the Hardware. Damn companies selling **** that doesn't work!!! Advertising parts for a specific car, year, model etc . . . . Only to be disappointed.

Well, so much for this venture . . . .

Stacey, how tight did these fit? I imagine your bumper has been re-chromed which probably helped shrink the factory hole some. The last time I tried a set of these they didn't stay in place. . . .

yes, my bumper has been re-chromed. They took some persuasion to install. You had to twist and wiggle them to get the to go. the left side actually started to cut into the lead-in angle so I had to regroup and use some Armorall to get that one to go. They didn't seem loose once in the hole.
