It's starting to make me sick with the way these young punks are destroying all these classic cars, putting these GIANT rims and wheels on these cars, and the paint jobs/interior redesign with a million speakers in the door panels, I just want to kick them in the head when i see that , anyone else on my side ????
I tend to agree. I'm guessing the collectors of Model A's and T's in the 50's felt the same way about the hot rodders of that era.
That is stuff that can be changed back, like airshocks, lace paint jobs, and tuck and roll upholestry. At least these kids are into cars at all, be thankful their saving a few of these and there not driving Honda's.
Do you have any idea how many tri 5 chevies were used up as race cars in the day! Things get real trashed on a short track.
Im 22 and I hate that style or whatever you want to call it..I have two older classics and I think its a shame
I'm guessing that our forefathers said the same when people cutomized the model A,t and all the 30s, 40s, and 50's cars. So while that style is not one I like it's just a replay of whats gone on for years.
There are a few here in Bowling Green, Ky that are mostly 4 door cars and I have to admire the work (paint/body/interior) that these young guys have come up with. No one else would do much with a 4 door car but at least these young guys have saved them from the crusher. I try and look at the quality of the work and not if I like what they have done to the vehicle. Just my two cents worth.
Same here. It's not my style at all. Just because some people don't like it doesnt mean the quality isnt there. Im on the west coast so everything here get's laid out on some billet wheels.:TU:

i seen a 70 monte carlo yesterday , and the rims where so big he couldn't even turn , thats just sad !!
well its there car i dont care what they do too it i mean i dont like some of things people on here do to there cars either
Well, maybe there spendin there money $$$ on those speakers, and tires instead of Crack ?? "We can Hope" If there doin that too, " then I vote to kick there ass ".
