NO in big letters made me feel like I was in grade school and getting yelled at. QUIT YELLING AT ME!!!! I'm still on the fence about passing up that deal. Wife at home not working with a 3 1/2 year old, mortgage, car payment, etc and coming off of a 4 month layoff & here's a package deal 69 running driving show-worthy 400 4 speed rag and a Stage 1 4 gear rag parts car AND a bunch of rust-free body panels, N.O.S. stuff for "just" $11,000.00 Didn't have the place to store it , but had the money, so I just said no. Tried to do the responsible thing.

Go ahead Geo and poke at me ... as long as someone finds me 1/77

... for the record, I've looked at exactly 2 of them for sale. The first was not much more than a vin tag and #'s RS motor with a bunch of rust around it that at one time might have been a car :puzzled:

And well, then there is the Jack Daniels Car LOL, good name for it btw.

Let's not forget the holy grail of 69 4 speed stage 1's, Jeff's 54k mile bought from original owner car!

That looks to be the ad the original owner put up several years ago.

That's the one. I bought it a couple of years back. I was fortunate the guy kept every doc includingthe original sales order, protecto plate, window sticker etc. I plan on getting to the car soon. It's not going to be a trailer queen. I want to drive it but want it nice It comes off the frame so all the zebart can be cleaned off (it's everywhere but saved the car from rust.) The frame and floors are perfect, the lower part of both front fenders will need attention but not replaced. We'll pull the motor and tranny etc for detail and paint it.The car doesn't need any parts to speak of for the exception of some grill pieces and fix a leaky (cracked?)rs exaulst manifold. My goal is to have it for the BPG in Aug.Jeff65 GS Cpe Silver AT AC69 Stage Cvt 4 Speed70 GSX Stage QQ AT AC70 Stage Aqua/Wht AT AC71 GSX 350 AT C Gold71 Stage 4 Speed C Gold77 Riviera Sandstone 50K mi.57 T-Bird Wht/Red 27K mi.

Jeff, Im usually one not to ask what someone paid for something but being as I've wanted 1/77 for a long time and having viewed the add for this car for quite a while before you bought it I find myslef very curious what you paid for it ... if you are willing to divulge that info

... if not here then possibly a pm :Do No:

    Thanks ..

From the first time, yes .. but there's perma-damage back there from the mutitude of times over the years. Once I smartened up, I almost always have a towel of some sorts with me

... or maybe its from reading HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy

Good for you! I'm glad this car got in the hands of a Buick guy. What dealership did the car come from? I'm originally a Pittsburgher.
