Just finished this year's edition of the 2006 PSMCDR webpage on my website. Check it out. I don't have the race results yet, only photos. My buddy Dave DeCoster shot almost every match-up on Saturday. A couple only had one car in the frame, or zoomed in too tight and both cars are out of the shot so unfortunately not ALL pairings are shown. But about 90% are there. My apologies to those whose cars we didn't get a photo of!! If I screwed up any descriptions of the cars, please let me know so I can correct the blunder. Here's the link: http://www.geocities.com/fjr3411/ I broke down and paid for this site so hopefully it doesn't shut down like my usual free sites do after too many "hits". :Comp:
Thanks Frank! Great pics :TU: Do have a couple of "fixes" for you http://www.geocities.com/fjr3411/pair30.JPG - this is an A4 GTX 440-4 4spd http://www.geocities.com/fjr3411/pair24.JPG - this is Dave Watt in a freshly restored Road Runner that had the same 440-2bbl problem as me in '05
Frank, great pitcures!!!I was new this year and Frank invited me and my wife down.I know we have already thanked you but I just wanted everyone to know that Frank,Dave and their wifes treated me and my wife like kings. We had a great time and the group was awesome.Met some really nice people. Can't wait until next year Ty
Boy that was quick :TU: Are we going to do a hog roast next year? The thought of a fresh corn-fed hog front shoulder in a slow-cooker w/ cabbage and potatoes is making me hungry  Lon OO====OO
Lon great pictures. I really enjoyed them. On the shoot out between Pete's ZL1 and Larry's blue corvette it is not an L88 but rather a '71 LS6 vette. Again thanks for the pictures. Mark
Race Results! Get your Official Race Results HERE! I just got the official race results spreadsheet thru my secret government Studebaker sources. :Brow: It is loaded up on the webpage. You will find the link listed after the photos. Start your bench racing early and dissect those results!! :Smarty: Mark: I fixed the LS-6/L-88 mistake! This is what happens when you spend most of the time sitting in the staging lanes!! The only racing I saw was the remainder of the second round after Chris and I finished our shoot-out. Titanium: LOL! It was great having Mr. and Mrs. Titanium (Ty and Keli Taccone) park with us in the grass pits. Great folks, and enthusiastic PSMCDR fans!!! :beer
thumbs up Frank! Great summary of an amazing muscle car extravaganza! What a fraternity of racers we have!
Same info/spreadsheet as above, except in an image file, for you folks without Excel... http://www.yenko.net/attachments/Sept2006ShootoutResultsOnly.jpg --------------------------- Hillbilly Racing Team Membership has it's privilages...no shoes required!
Can't get that link to be readable Rob. So who is the "King of the Horsepower"?? And who is closest to there factory rating?????? Peter
Pete: On mine, the cursor is a small zoom symbol. put it on the chart and left click and it expands it. Try that.
I heard from a very reliable source that the Hemi Cuda of Bob K. was the KING of Horsepower. I did not get the number, but it out powered the two faster Vette's.
I don't get the HP ratings. Mine shows 430 rwhp and the most I ever got out of a chassis dyno was 391 in optimum conditions. Thanks for posting the results........spell check! beltraNe?? Should be BeltraMe. thanks, Bruno
Frank thanks for the fix. It is almost impossible to get all those pictures and cars straight. Great job again. That is the bummer about racing is you miss most of the racing! Mark
Bruno, Dan uses an hp calculator. Nothing more than an additional form of info. I have also found that the real dyno and the calculator do not match up. The few cars I have chassis dyno'd made less on the dyno then the calculator. It does make for fun and consistent comparing of everyones cars though. If you want give me a call and I can give you several sources on line for calculators that you can use. Mark
Better strap it on against these guys!! I was quickly looking at the reaction times on the list. After having a lazy light in the first round, Tom Miller let the Firebird go with a .013 and a .019 light!!! :TU: And for the quickest light of eliminations, Ken Reibel hit Benoit upside the head with a .005 light! :bglasses: Copo, Looks like I might need to ask Santa for a port-a-tree for Christmas. Looks like the young one has some reaction time skills of his own!!
Frank, Great Pics and write up on the web-site! Thanks again for the great hospitality in the grass pits again this year! I really enjoy the race results spreadsheet. Darren got his GS out of the shop Sat and we are planning an outing to Osceola on Sunday. Looking forward to next year. BTW - Sorry for your family's loss. Mark
my reaction time in the first race was horrible , second was better . i hot footed it home , 20 hrs with a 2.5 hr catnap in the middle , get home shower and head off to the local track for mopar day , figure i'll make a couple passes in the car , my first race cut a .003 light , second was .082 ou: didn't go any faster , 14.28 , but my MPH was up to 99.7 ....
