Wow ! They look very nice ! If you do want some tips for the pictures , do not aim the camera in the center of it , aim at the top or lower corner the flash will not "glare" as much and the "real" color shows better at "daylight" if you could of course . Then crop it to center the picture ! Good job ! :TU:
Okay, finally another round. check these two out. If these are good with everyone then we can get the details worked out from here.
They look very good ! :TU: for my information do you think it could be possible to "reverse" the colors to fit the fullsize Buick (but Riv?)? They're might be some diff. in text but the alignment of wheels are the same ... Could it be "possible" (and more easy) for the future if it's only a question of colors ? In other word what is the more complicate parts , the die or lettering if our fullsize mate wanna have theirs done ? Bye
I don't see that anyone responded to this question... isn't the 69 faceplate identical to the corresponding 68 faceplate? Or is it different in appearance, but the same in sizing/layout? o No:
I believe 69 is totally different, since they got rid of the thumbwheel for the temprature and replaced it with a regular slider.
Thanks Nick, I don't believe I've had a close look at a 69 version. Maybe someone can post a pic. Looks like a few guys have asked about 69's being made.
69 heat/ac Here is my sixty nine. As you can see, they are similar to the 70's. The only decal i can find for this is the woodgrain I believe. I am in the middle of painting and detailing my dash, and it is killing me to think i can't find anything for this. This is for an A/C car, and being a convertible, i would assume that the dashes have seen more inclement weather through the years. Does anyone know of a source for perhaps a decal for these?
Ive got one each of the final run. We are looking at 40.00 each, shipped. I need to order in minumums of 4 to get that price. I will get pictures of both types on the controls for you to see, but it probably isnt going to be until next week as Im pretty busy for the next few days with Christmas activities.
Here is the plates on the controls, and what they look like when the lights are on. Again, not factory beautiful, but until there is another alternative its the best I can get.
They look fabulous! I'm in for a "no A/C" version. Please advise of your payment particulars and I'll get something on the way. thanks for taking this on. dewey
Same here, one non-air version for me. Paypal is a great option if you have it, or have thought about signing up an account. :bglasses:
Payment can be made to my Paypal account, dunzell@comcast.net. I need 4 orders to get the price. Please include in the payment your shipping address as well as which type you would like. $40.00 each, shipped. Remember that these are printed onto a plastic sheet. I coated mine with a coat of satin crystal clear Krylon to protect it. I removed all the original labeling and cleaned the original plastic plate and then used a spray adhesive (elmers clear adhesive) to fasten it to the original plate. Then you just clamp the original plate back on. Pretty basic.
Link won't work. ou: ..i would like to order mine. Is there another way to get you the cash? AC verson. THANKS
Hey Dave, that isn't a link, it's his account at Paypal that you would enter as the payee if you use Paypal to buy. You have to sign up for a paypal account first though.
