68 heater control label w/ac

Just cuirious is the writing on the heater lable made in another material undernieth the the silver? Thats what it looks like on the 69 AC one.. Can I just buy the materil from you to see if I can get one made locally?? Need one really bad!! ANd really quick.. thankyou randy

I met a guy online who said he can make me one in vinyl to go over it
But i would need to take mine out to send to him And im just not that good at turning a wrench I was going to buy one and send it to him so i didnt have to remove mine but i havnt found one with A/C to send him

did anything ever become of this thread? i have a '68 w/ a/c i'm restoring frame off and my faceplate is shot. i'm trying to get a buddy with a cnc to mill one but now wife has misplaced the original.ou:
