Well....I'm getting really excited! Won't be too much longer. I've been posting many questions about the interior as I've been completing my car after receiving it in October. I'm making progress and hoping to be behind the wheel pretty soon.

PS. I already know, Wrong knob! Hope to get one from Dave one day when he makes another run!

    Looks great, Troy!

And if that's not a consolette car, that knob is correct.

Actually, the consolette is at Custom Metal Finishing Indiana. They are repairing and chroming it. I just talked to them last week and it was next on the shelf so it could be this week!!! So, indeed it is a consolette car.

Wow Troy, that is a great looking color combo and fantastic restoration work by everyone involved. You really have a beautiful Buick and should be very proud of the results. I know it's a lot of work to bring a car to an event but I hope this car can be displayed for all of us to see and enjoy in person.

If you are looking for a satin shift knob with no pattern, Thortons has them for $29. We used one on a '70 Stage 1 and had no deductions on the concours class. http://thorntonmusclecars.com/product-category/shifter-balls

Ok Troy, I’m counting on seeing this car in October.

Also, I’ll be happy to take it down the track for you!

Here is an embarrassing moment! If you took any pictures of my car, would you share here? Today at the GS Nationals went so fast. My son and I wanted to see as much racing as we could. I left my phone in the truck, Then all of a sudden it’s raining.
    Thanks in advance!
