He was explaining about this Iranian terrorist leader (forgot his name) they let into our country to speak yesterday. He said that the way the Muslim extremists see it, the US and Isreal are the anti Christ.

Becaust they, like us Christians do, believe in the Messiah. The second coming of (forgot his name too...old age :Dou: ) who is their "Christ".

And it is their belief is that as Muslims it is their duty to start a really bad war, and do horrible things in order to speed up this second coming. This Iran leader has even said that publicly in the past.

That is why all these azzholes are arming themselves to the hilt with nuclear weapons........they want to start the armogeddan so that the messiah will come ASAP. And since the US and Isreal are trying to prevent this great war from happening, WE are the Anti Christ.

Now I get it. Un-fricking-believable. :spank: :blast:

not to say they are right! but just look around you, nothing but sex and violence with everything on TV and Holywood. They want to remove Christ from Christmas and expect world peace. I think we have forgotten what this country was founded on and forgotten what these crazy people have done to us.

Ahmadine Jad should off never been aloud into our country, and definetly not go out in one piece. A total slap in the face!:blast:

I didn't think he should have been allowed here either until I saw the reception he got at the University and other places now I'm glad he came. He thought because of our wonderful news media that he could come in here and bad mouth our country and policies and be well recieved by the students and other citizens. WRONG He is the one who got the slap in the face now he needs a kick in the ass out the door:blast: JMHO

this country wasnt founded on sex and violence not being on tv, or for people to be christians. one could say it was founded on the exact opposite. to have the freedom to beleive what you want, have your own values to what is or isnt appropriate...

lets also not forget that god told george bush to invade iraq and afghanistan. make no mistake, im not comparing bush to ahmadinejad, the point im making is that religion, no matter which one it is, shouldnt influence political/world decisions

OK I wasnt going to get into this one but look GOD did NOT tell GW to invade Iraq I dont care what the CCN morons said. If you will do your homework let me help you with your study. As a christian (I am one too) You call out/ pray / talk to... GOD. If something weighes heavy on your heart you will talk to GOD to figure out the path to travel. As a christian you will be looking for an answer. If a direction seems to be the right path
after praying/talking/calling out to GOD it would seem in a christians eyes that is the path GOD has chosen for you to go. This is what GW did. If you cant beleive that GOD does talk to you (IF you are willing to look for his answer) Call me ... I will tell you how I got into my own business instead of working for another shop. Not to mention how I got my employees. I would love to post the story but I have no intetion of typing for that long.

All you are doing with your statement above is to repeat the liberal media retoric.

Without scientific proof, no one is right. It's all speculation. Is god the god of our planet?? Our solar system?? All of the solar systems?? Only the middle east?? The whole concept of a God seems silly to me. Don't want to offend anyone but it just doesn't seem logical. I don't believe in ghosts either. Reality has ruined my imagination as well..

But, you will not find a happier guy. My opinion is rarely welcome. I usually just shut the f*ck up..

But there are thousands of religions in the world. Who's right?? The one down the street is certainly convenient. Are all the people in the world Gods' children?? If you are born in a part of the world where you are never exposed to a "christian" religion, does that make you bad?? How can the little boy in China believe in the same Christian God you believe in?? Is he destined to go to hell by birth??

Don't judge me.. That aint right:kodak:

i understand that bush didnt literally speak to god, however he has said on multiple occasions that his faith influences the decisions he makes, including the iraq war. if you can "school" me and prove otherwise, please do.

and for the argument that all im doing is repeating the "liberal media" is a total cop-out. its the argument that most people use when they dont like what is reported. because something is reported by liberal outlets doesnt make it any less true.

i also chose not to work for anyone else, and to start my own business. ive never "spoken" to god. what works for you might not work for others. i personally would rather our president make decisions on evidence and logic.

Only you can make the choice of religion you have the faith to believe 100% in. That is a right you have and that is GOD given. I wont go into the other religions however I will say this. I dont worship a dead GOD I worship a "risen savior" My GOD is alive and doing well. I would love to debate who's GOD is the right one but here is a tidbit. Our founding fathers of our nation worshiped the same GOD I do. The little boy in china also has the same chances you do to hear the word of GOD. There are missionaries everywhere that are teaching GODs word. There recently was a study I read that a proffessor from somewhere went out to dispove that GOD didnt exsist and that the bible was false. What he did find was that there are more facts that prove that the bible was true vs false. If I can find it again I will shoot you the link to his study so you can read it all. Im not judging you only GOD does that. Personally I would rather be a christian and find out I was right than not beleive and find out I was wrong. Most from what I see is that the people who bash christianity dont want to claim GOD is real because then they would have to repent from their lifestyles they live. Its your choice to beleive or not beleive, to me its a no brainer ....now. Its not all roses but its much better than the other direction I was traveling. :TU:

No war should be based on a god that cannot be verified as real. My god is better than your god??

Hmm, sounds like that person on the report you saw needs a bit of help understanding things that are different from his own way of thought.

Although Christianity, Judiasm, and Islam are all "Abrahamic" religions, the concept of an "anti-christ" is Christian one. The concept of a christ, or savior, is common, and is not a violent one. Of course, in each case, it gets a lot more detailed.
The idea of an armageddon is, too, more of a Christian belief.

in this case, i suspect that you're the one who needs to read a little closer Truzi.

Islam claims to have subsumed the traditions and prophets ( specifically including Christ ) of the two previous "peoples of the book" ( Jews and Christians ) while claiming that the previous traditions have intentionally perverted and fallen away from the teachings and word of "Allah".

they have an equivalent to "Revelations" but it is not included in the Koran. and in their "Revelations" they claim that Christ will return with Mohammed and that there will be a false ( anti- ) Christ.

Wow this thread got REAL off topic quick...

Anywho, if I were President I'd just ignore his blatantly obvious anti-western ideals, and the second he steps a toe out of line (threatening the West, attacking a nation allied with us) blast him back to the freakin stone age.

I really think religion has no place in world politics. History has shown that every religion has been corrupted at some point or caused some sort of atrocity, directly or indirectly.
