Start um young, get a swing that you can wined up and they will sleep for hrs and you get to watch the baby while working on the car:TU:
At my request, a few posts were removed. I'd like to keep this thread going but was getting tired of reading the questions and comments of why the cam info is a secret. So I'll keep it here for now and delete it if becomes an issue again.
Finally got it running in the car. Still needs some tuning. Didn't touch anything yet. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/EDZl_2Vd9v4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I need a air filter too? Just kidding. 14x4 kn drop base. Hood clears when everyone told me no way it would fit.
This looks like a excellent build and basically what I want to have in my next driver with a stick:3gears:
Sounds really good!! REALLY makes me want a street car again!! Video of your first drive would be good! Steve
There was a time when I was building the GSX that I was going to put lights in it, etc. and make it streetable. My better sense told me not to and now I wish had done just that!! That would have been fun.... even if it was only a few miles at a time!! lol
Not to hijack this thread but.... Go for it Steve! That X is way too nice for you to part with. That car can't be replaced- it's a work of art!
Thanks guys, Agreed....... I don't want to hijack this thread, but making it back into a street car at this point would be a ton of work. If it doesn't sell after a given point I may consider it. Any other comments about my car can be posted on my GSX for sale thread. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?287959-GSX-Drag-Car-for-SALE&p=2387781&highlight=#post2387781 Thanks, and once again congrat's on a great street engine!! That thing should be FUN!!
and judging by op comments about idle quality, its the 3/4 smooth idle version, not the 3/4 rough idle one!!!:eek2:
Back in the thread you were talking about the Calvert shocks, I put the 90/10's on the race car and they work great but you have to open up the control arm cause the shock body is bigger than stock.
