Just went to $2.05 for unleaded regular today in the Twin Cities! Paid $1.74 on Monday to fill my truck. Look out David! Fargo is next.
Whatever they put on their sign, because like everyone else, I have no control over it. We just did an 800 mile road trip and just over $80 was the cost for gas.
U.S. Gas is still the cheapest in the world, no sympathy here, although I do feel for our European friends. BTW, I'm Paying 3.02 in Canadian for a a US Gallon and that's for 87, and yes I run the Riv on 87
I paid $1.48 for dissel Friday @ Flying J exit 2 I-65 in KY. Paid $1.66 for 87 octane there also. Ronnie
Whats "87"? Oh yeah.. the stuff I put in my lawnmower. p To be honest... I never even look at the gas prices. I couldn't tell you what I've paid in the last year. I couldn't even tell you 75 cents what I've been paying. It makes absolutely NO difference what they charge..... I need it, and I'll buy it. End of story. Why should I bother getting upset about something I have NO chance of changing? I have plenty of other things, within my control, to worry about. o No:
$1.98 today for 87 and thats what i put in my convertible. i put about 35 bucks of gas in every 5 days. I gotta look into getting a honda..
1.84.9 87 octane 1.99.9 89 octane 2.15.9 93 octane I love my skylark, but I love My Mazda do (10 mpg or 30 mpg)
yesterday regular 1.91  :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: stupid money for gas know :af: :af: :af:
In Denver (well Littleton) I just paid $2.05 for 91 to fill up my Skylark. My other car is an 89 Blazer so my mileage is poor and poorer with the Skylark but at least I can run 85 in the Blazer. I've thought about getting a more efficient car but with the amount I drive it would take something like 8 years just to break even with the savings in gas. This would be a $5000 car (like a Civic) that got twice the mileage of the Blazer (32 vs. 16 mpg). 8 years kind of puts things into perspective!
You lucky people..... the gas prices stated above were common here back in the early 70-ties. Today price went up here to $5.75/gallon. Fortunately we got an alternative: LPG! which is about the same price p/gln as you pay for gas.
