    $104.9/litre here today!!!
For me to buy an Imperial gallon, I'm looking at $4.67 Cdn.
For you to buy a US gallon................................. $2.59 US.

Wonder if I can get an antique roof/ladder rack for the Buick?
F250 just can't seem to pass a gas station.

    We pay over 1.50 US$ a litre.
    So that's over 5.67 US$ for 1 US gallon

With the Saudi's supposedly very good friend of the Bushe's one would think that they would be helping with increased production and not sticking it in our rears . I think that with excutives being caught lately in the stock market is causing greedybusinessmento move to the commodities markets where they can manipulate the prices . I think that there should be an investigation into the way gas futures are sold and bought . Anyone here heard that the Quick Trip is Saudi family owned ( no franchises here ) I would be glad to park my cars for a while and let the Arabs drink it .

I read the recipe for this .
All American troops back in the borders
Give Americans living abroad 6 months to move back
    close our borders
    Kick out all foreign students
    Drill for oil in Alaska
Offer a fair price for a barrel of oil on the open market ( take it or leave it )
Convert some cars to methanol ( my race car) this is renewable
stop selling our food and giving it away to other countries
    Stop being the worlds police
Warn any agression will bring annailation
Take care of our own like everyone else does

I for one will pay for American made goods ! Who needs a 50
dollar DVD player that only lasts a year ?

    Screw them all .
Just venting but it makes some sense

    Gas prices in Hawaii

Gas in Hawaii is second only to parts of California in terms of cost. As of two days ago, name brand gas sells for around $2.199 for 87, $2.399 for 92 octane, per gallon. There are OPEC-era lines at the local Costco (sometimes 8 cars deep), which sells no-name gas for $1.939 & $2.099 respectively. $0.30/gallon savings is a lot!

Shopped around tonight and got 87 for $2.099 a gallon. What a BAHHHGAIN! Had an almost empty 37.5 gallon tank. It sucks when it clicks off at $50 and the gas gage reads 3/4! Another $24.88 and I was full, for a grand total of $74.88. But hey, it beats driving a four banger $hitbox.

I'm thinking we need to run that big pipe down from Alaska. We could even let some of our Canadian friends have some! Caribou Smaribou!

  6. Looks like I'm almost out of my cheap fill from last November...I got on the road a bit late this spring! I'll have to fill up later this week probably. Last I saw 87 was $1.95, 92 octane was $2.05, so I guess I can't complain compared to what some of you guys are paying... :eek2:

    Think about it...

1.21 gigawatts is equal to 1,621,983 horsepower. Now that I think about it, better order the block girdle...

And maybe I should upgrade my u joints...

Gotta watch my maths here, but I filled up my wifes Mini couple of days back and it was 81 pence per litre for regular unleaded. Thats $6.30 per Imperial gallon at the current dollar rate. Whats that per US gallon? about $5.00 I think?

I run my Buick on LRP which is 87 pence a litre at my local Esso station. Thats $6.75 per Imperial gallon, about $5.40 per US gallon.

Its been on the news a lot that crude oil prices are up up up and not expected to come down for a while and we should expect 90 pence a litre for regular unleaded soon.

Still, I know some guys in the North East were saying they were paying 80 pence a litre BEFORE the prices went up...

I know guys with Hondas talking about needing more economical cars. LOL!

Did look at a site on the net which worked out the tax on your gas. (only does UK prices, sorry). based on 12000 miles a year at 17 MPG my Chrysler costs me 2726 ($4852) a year in gas, of which 2068 ($3681) is tax!!!!! Now 658 a year in gas costs I could live with!

    makes you think.

    $2.45 for Premium

I'm paying $2.45 a gallon for Premium for my Riviera and that is why I have a 1986 Mercury Cougar  There is a town just south of me in California called Bridgeport and it is pretty rural and it is....hold your breath....$3.15 for regular! Talk about sand in the vaseline! More like gravel! Hard enough paying for prices like that and going to college, paying bills, paying for books, driving to work etc. Not much we can do. Gas stations are not government regulated and besides, more people are flying now hence the expensive prices.

Just went from $1.87 to $2.14 for regular today. Here the indicator for a price hike is to watch Gougeway OOPs I mean Speedway is the first to raise there prices. :af:
