Yea. We actually use these bins you can get at "Home Cheapot". They tend to work a little better than the bags because they can be stacked and allow a quick view of its contents. Plus you can label the outside like "right door" "emblems and trim clips" "stuff you don't want your wife to find" etc... But, as long as everything gets labeled you'll be ok.

Man that is a sweet ride. I like thew second pic of the better than mirror finish.

You aren't in New Jersey right? I know you have a location in your profile but i'm just checking.

Mark your so right about the girl/wife thing. My girl understands that my cars come first. She is cool with it. I guess I got lucky there.

Oh and I have put everything in it's place so I can find every nut and bolt.

Why doesn't somebody make a complete bolt kit for the entire car?? I'd buy it.

Joe, It looks like you are off to a great start :TU:

I love the way the car body looks on those big wooden horses.

Those big wooden horses look like something my cousin johnny would use.

Keep us updated on your progress and good luck with the car.

Morning Bob. Yea my buddy who's helping me is also a custom home builder.

Funny story, the other day when we were going to lift the body, the 2 2x4's he had weren't long enough so I had to go buy 4 new 8 footers and then he pulled out his framing hammer and took these 4 inch nails and started pounding them together with one swing per nail!! And my neighborhood buddies who were hanging aroud now call him the ANIMAL!!!

I got my rotisserie now so next week i'll have a new 12 by 20 tent to put it in.

I got stuck working late tonight so no pictures today. I'll get them tomorrow.:(

The frame is pretty much done and ready for paint. Looks amazing.:) Just as good as new. I dropped all the suspension parts and a few others to the sand blaster. I hope to have them back by the weekend so I can paint them all together.

The car is on the rotissirie allready!!!!:beer

    Now I have to put up a painting booth. ( A 12 by 26 tent thingy )

Once the frame is painted and I get it all back together i'll start on the body!:beers2:

Why the hell doesn't anyone make complete body bolt kits?? I'd buy it in a second. I have been bagging and tagging but I don't want to use the old bolts. I guess i'll have to buy a few of those cheesy bolt kits. You know the ones right? Too many of these weird sizes and not enough of the sizes you need!!!

Did you have your frame sandblasted? If you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost? I got a quote locally today - frame only $500. I thought that was kinda high.

No it didn't need it. Very little effort to get it down. I will post some pics tomorow.

I might have a soda blasting guy come do the body though.

If you can find someone local (bodyshop supply) who sells W&E fasteners you can buy them by the box. 596 are the 5/16 sheet metal screws used on most pre '68 cars for wheel houses, rad supt. etc. 943 are 5/16-18 used for the same only they are more for the 68-72 cars. 945 are the 3/8 with a loose washer that bolt the fenders to the cowl. here:
