Not trying to be a wise ass but they probably got dirty because they are 42 plus years old

I am pretty sure about the red being correct as well..The assembly manual does appear to show SOME of the boots being angled but these are just a drawing and not real life. I did not want to mess with tbe wires anyway. These are not very forgiving and you can easlily end up with a miss-fire.

gary, thanks for showing the pics. Things like that are very valuable in a restoration.

Another difference in the original wires wires I noticed in Garys pics and also on a nother low mileage car I had seen was the wires appear to have yellow letering on them where the repros have white. Oh well.

Looks great ! What brand of black paint did you use on the frame, suspension, firewall, ? Was it laquer or urethane ?

I used Eastwood Chassis black on the frame. The higher up level one that needs a spray gun. For the suspension parts I used Extreme chassis black in the spray bombs which appears a bit more glossy than the one I used on the frame. I like the contrast anyway. They are both urethane I believe.

looking for number for parts that should be on my car fan ,shord, rims, ect.
and like what color to paint parts like gas line clips ,all the little things.
i want my car to be as stock as i can get it.
don`t want to buy parts that are wrong for it.

Ray, if you have a 455 you should have a 5 blade fan that is 20". They are the same for any 70-72 big car 455. I can get you the part number for the shroud but it is common to 72 big cars so you should be able to find one. There is also a plastic strap that holds the hose to the shroud in 72. I have one for $10 shipped if you want it. If you want 15" rims they are pretty easy to find/ Look for WM code or WP code. They look the same. Colors for the clips are many. The three big ones on the frame rail were yellow. Check out my pics you should see most of them. They are all correct from my research of many original cars.

Also the fan for your car will not have a part number stamped on it. Very few did.
