Julies quickest run was 11.45 @ 121.03, qualifying her #8. That means she gets to run Terry in the first round. It's gonna look like an Orange overload. :3gears: :3gears:
Well, one good thing that might come about as a result of this pairing, we might finally see the end of the #1 vs. #8 for future races after this event:Smarty: This isn't PRO STOCK, cars in FAST aren't close enough for this ladder system.:bglasses:
Amen. When I was thrown into the ladder at Commerce as 16th qualifier at 14.20 against Greg's Buick, who qualified at 11.20 something, I was less than happy. I was going to take the advice of another Pure Stocker who said, when I do the burnout, don't even stop at the tree. He'll probably still beat me......and he would have if I hadn't been DQ'ed for wearing shorts.....:TU:
correction Donny, I thought terrys car is now only a fast car! I thought he was all done going back and forth, hence the julie only car. Let me know
He'll probably still beat me......and he would have if I hadn't been DQ'ed for wearing shorts.....:TU:
I've seen you in shorts & I'd disqualify you too. Julie, on the other hand can wear anything she damn pleases!:bla:
That's a "Genie back in the bottle" post if I ever saw one. ... and Jody, no need to be embarassed. That time slip may actually be the best thing to happen to P/S. Because of track rules, there's now no where else to go... except slower across the whole field. It's an invitation to tighten up the rules like in the old days... or lose the track.
I've seen you in shorts & I'd disqualify you too. Julie, on the other hand can wear anything she damn pleases!:bla:
   Agreed....at least on the last part.
Where can I find the definition of "PURE" as it related to "Pure Stock?" I think my understanding of "pure" may be different than others...
