Sorry only kinda car related...but what's the deal with Chick-Filet?

AT ALL HOURS...there are 15-20 cars lined up at the drive thru idling. Parking lot also packed with people waiting for spots and people walking out with crazed grin like "I got my sandwich and you can't even find a parking spot". I left....couldn't deal with it.....
What's the attraction? Are they putting some kinda drugs in the sandwiches? Or maybe just MSG?

It’s like that around here too. I think they do a free breakfast sandwich once a week. I just know that I won’t be going there anyway. Breathing in exhaust fumes isn’t worth it.

Chick-Fil-A is, by far, the best run fast-food restaurant out there. If there are 10-15 cars in the drive-thru you will get your food faster than at a McDonalds with 4-5 cars in front of you. Plus, your order will be correct and the food edible...
The long lines at the drive thru used to scare me away until I tried it. In and out in 5 minutes.

Yeah about McDonalds got 2 for $4 egg mcmuffins yesterday and one had plastic wrapping pieces in it that I had to pick out of my teeth.

Consistently friendly staff, good quality food (comparatively speaking to other fast foods), and it doesn’t hurt the wallet. I’m a fan

Chick Fil-A doesn't give you the runs.

Two thumbs up for Chic Fil A! Especially the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit. Absolutely worth the wait. Unless you pull in Sunday at 5 am LOL

IN EXAMPLE. McDonalds and Burger King are within a mile of my home. You rarely see more than one car at the BK (pretty sure it is usually an unsuspecting passer-bye off the interstate), while McDonalds is always packed like the above described CFA. Reason; BK is absolutely disgusting. From the littered and uneven parking lot, to the guy at the filthy drive thru window who looks like he just got up from a two day bender under a bridge, to the food that never (tried it a half dozen times in the last 20 years) looks anything like the picture (or commercial) that is so greasy a billy goat would be guaranteed a severe stomach pain, and lest we forget, special orders do upset them. The local McDonalds is clean, has decent food, and a staff that is at least presentable.

i dunno...i love the waffle fries with the honey BBQ sauce... and around here, its pretty mediocre food.. its a nice break once in awhile, but i wont wait in line...the chicken fillets have a weird rubbery texture and a weird spice profile...just not that good...unless you bury it with H=BBQ

truely, the only reason i ever go there is the WF and Honey BBQ sauce...

hipsters and tree huggers love it around here...

Absolutely THE best thing there & it's not even really on the menu!

Insanely busy there @ 10:25 on Saturday morning, just before breakfast cuts off, but still usually get in & out relatively quickly. The drive-thru lines are crazy. I can walk in much faster.

Never eaten there, but always see long lines at the drive-thru.

When on vaca we stopped off at one. it was packed. We walked in and immediately felt like we were being herded like cattle. I looked at wife and we both said " Lets leave" We have 4 small kids. I find table first then go get order. Not at CF. I have no desire to be rushed when I eat.

Love Chick-Fil A. Great service, order an go sit, and they bring your food to you. At a number of them they will cone around and get you a drink refill as well. ALWAYS super polite to. My favorite fast food. The local one here usually has 2 people out in the drive thru lanes taking your orders to keep thing moving. Next best is Wendy's Spicey chicken.

Sorry guys, I'm not a Chick-A-Filet fan. Mediocre food, typical of fast food restaurants. Cleaner then KFC, but still leaves a lot to be desired in that department. If you are going to go cheapo big name fast food, Culver's seems to be about the best. There are many local independent restaurants that are better then any of the chains.

I've had nothing but good experiences with CF, and like that they are true to their values.
