Sorry only kinda car related...but what's the deal with Chick-Filet?

I don't get them often, but the wife brings them home once in a while. Greatest thing I've ever eaten? No. But a good honest fried chicken sandwich? Yep. I certainly won't turn it down when handed one!

As a matter of fact, this thread is making me hungry.....

 

True story - a very close friend of mine had just left college in Colorado and was looking for opportunities. He went to an event promoting franchises and came across the Chick Fil-A booth. They were looking for someone to open a franchise in a mall in Denver and the initial buy in was $5K. He thought to himself, "who's gonna buy a chicken sandwich?" and decided against it. That was over 30 years ago and he still kicks himself.

 

Well I've been impressed by how they give back to the community. They give free food to first responders in emergencies, they've even opened on Sundays to provide free food in those situations. My favorite though is they don't let others push them around.

Two weeks ago the Atlanta Airport lost power for several hours, backups failed too, so thousands were stuck in the dark, on a Sunday. Chik fi A jumped in and started handing out sammiches. (And this involved calling in staff, opening and cooking somewhere, then delivering it, not just handing out stuff they had).

My favorite Chicken place/ fast food restaurant !
Their chicken strips with the polynesian dip & wafer fries are awesome ! my wife loves the breaded chicken sandwich!
The way they took the so-called heat from the LGBT morons and the MSM beating on them was very admirable
