That is where the dealer is....it's gotta be him. That car sounded SICK when he fired it up...some nice TA aluminum heads poppin' out of the engine compartment. I think he had MT headers, too if I remember correctly.

Camera and computer interface problems I'll add more asap.
Previous owner was John Scanelli from Norfolk Va. He got it from the original owner and I have the original paperwork

Being jobless my car is coming along very slowly, so I need to live vicariously thru your resto. Any updates or new pics?

Sorry this past year has been loaded with non car activity. I spent most of the summer dealing with health issues of the inlaws. Now I am building a garage for the toys at the lake. FOundation is finished and trying to get a contractor that won't screw me. 36X50:) Right now the enging trans and rear are done and in the car. The carb is done (JW) installed on car. I just got my Gardner exhaust today and the front NOS bumper is on its way back from Tri City. I'll try to get a few pics together tonight. I still have to find my radiator cushins so I can get the car to where it will start. Having to spend a stack of cash on the top and headliner soon also. The body shop will be installing the front fenders and hood after the engine is broken in.

We'll work on that one. Lets maybe try to get that together for 2011 at BG. We can start by posting here and on BPG site. If we want it official we'll have to speak with Lassiter but right now I am concentrating on getting it to BG this year and to the Stage 1 reunion. I am installing the gas tank tonight. Thge NOS core support is in with the new headlight bearing pads I got from someone here. The radiatoor is back and setting in the support. The PW and PL wires are in the doors. I still need to get my new suspension on it. I keep forgetting I used the oldf stuff just to get the body back on the frame and get it home. I have a appointment for the Sunroof and headliner early march and back to the body shop for installation of the front clip middle of march.
I found a couple NOS window motors and will be installing them on the regulators this week and then its on to installing the glass and adjusting it. weatherstrip and trim is ready. I still need to detail my NOS grille and put amll the NOS rubber on the bumpers I found. I am leaning towards not using the front vertical chrome and rear horse shoe thats all NOS but whe I put it next to the bumpers from Tri City well they look crappy and I do not even like them anyway. I plan on keeping them in the boxes and storing them. Pics later tonight or wednesday

lol I just asked him this lastnight.

    His response:

Suncoupe is experiencing many delays:af: The shop that did the engine is supposed to start it in June and now its July and they still have yet to get it in their shop so I am just plugging along with assembly.

Ok I know it looks like I am not doing anything but. The rear sway bar is on, the front suspension is on. The brake system is on. The Engine brackets are either on or being painted. The drive shaft is powdercoated and is being assembled with new u joints. The radiator support bearings are installed. The wiring is being installed. The tilt collumn is rebuilt and will be installed shortly. The starter was professionally rebuilt. The original battery cable is soaking in baking soda to remove some corosion and will be re used with the correct bracket and asphalt tube. The power steeirng pump is drying. The fan is powdercoated and the clutch is installed. The air pump brackets are all painted and drying.
I still need a correct radiator CE code. BUt I migfht use a Modine until I find one. I have a good used one.
    Heres a few pics

I also need some 72 owner input on the first two pics. I have a NOS booster and it came with that clip . The booster is a 70 unit so I looked at my other 72 and it is not there. Is this a 70 clip? I have a friend with a70 Olds with the clip. My other Suncoupe has the clip in the second pic but its not attached to anything?
