Way to go, Scott. I'm sure the new owner will be very happy with it.

I know I sure hated to pass it up.

not on the board yet, he will be I suspect. local guy saw the car on racingjunk.com while perusing chevys. had a 67 gs 400 some years ago and is ready for his next old car and wasn't all that thrilled with all the chevys he was looking at.

Scott,I'm glad also that you sold the car.I don't know how many times I looked at the pictures and wished to buy it.I knew that there was no way that I could justify such a purchase just to let it sit in my garage but it was one of the best deals going for a long time.Very nice vehicle all around.Good luck with the new one!

    Re: Sold!!

I still have an affection for the 73-74 cars. My issue was/is at this point in life I only have parking/time/money for one car at a time. If the fo(ur-letter-word) car doesn't work out we will see. Or if, in spite of a crappy economy and who knows what is coming next I suddenly find myself with too much time/money/space I could be reeled into one of Tom Millers 73s, they should be for sale in another 15 minutes or so:laugh:  , right Tom?

hey John, Howyadoin? comin to Pasadena this winter for dinner? I will send some pics when I get some more-Ford is currently residing in a friends enclosed trailer. It is in need of some light body repair andpaint work on the passenger side door, waiting for my turn in a body shop. And, as with all my junk, it is a 'KIT" car, no engine or trans, but I have a lot of what I need lined up already.

Scott, Is it a 66 or 67 ? There are two of those beasts here in N.E, Ohio. Both 427s one auto the other 4-spd. One is the " cheapie style " the other is the fancy model. Good luck with your new toy !! Gary / Moz

it is a 67-this Fairlane is a weird mixture of both-it is a SEDAN, (which I really prefer, cause I'm wierd) but it has the 500 XL package, so it has chrome around the door pillars and bright trim down the sides and across the trunk.
