According to radar and the local forecast it does not look good for today. I am glad Ron and I hung in there and stayed last night as we were able to see a solid 3 hours of racing :TU: Here are a couple of pics I took. Jody
Same here! Turned out to be a great day, I was able to meet and hang out with a lot of nice people from the board. The few hours of racing late in the day was icing on the cake.
The state of Michigan apologizes to all of you who traveled so far. (We apologize for the city of Detroit, too, but that's a different issue.) I'm just glad you guys were able to get some runs in Friday night. It rained all day Sunday, too. There were sand bars in the street in front of my house this morning. The water in the storm drains, and the creek across the street, crested abotu a foot below street level -- which puts it two feet above my basement's floor. :eek2: I'm just glad the sump pump's working. Why do TV stations even pay meterologists? Why don't they just give a bottle of wine to some hobo and ask him to throw darts?
