Rims are standard 15 x 7 Buick Road Wheels, which we bought used. We "super-cleaned" them, and repainted the black inserts. Bought new centercaps and new correct lugnuts. We mounted 215/70 x 15's B F Goodrich's in the front, and 275/60 x 15 in the back. Do you guys think it would look good with "redline tires"? The car is a great cruiser...when you start to drive it, you want to stay in it, and find more places to go. It is a real-head turner, especially when filling up the gas tank! Even teenagers want to know "what is it"? Tony & Mark Saggese
Did you have to cut the lip on the rear openings or do they rub at all? How close are they too rubbing? Sorry for all of the questions.
We did not have to cut anything. The 15 X 7 wheels are a perfect off-set, and the rear wheel well is big enough for the 275/60 x 15's.
