1973 Stage 1 4-speed in Tulsa

This car was harvest gold, white interior at one time.

 

Wow Gary I haven’t heard Jimmy Jackson’s name since the 90s. I saw his black 73 4 speed at his shop off Myatt drive back in the 90’s when I had my green 74 stage 1. The 455 was painted Chevy orange. He had a red 70 gs he would run stock appearing iirc. Cool guy, his white lingenfelter zr1 would wheelie halfway down the track at union hill.

 

Car originally was sold new at Argo Buick in the Bronx NY. Argo also sold a maroon 73 Stage 1 but it was an automatic but I don't remember what interior it had. Car sat in a driveway since new till about mid 80's then one day it was gone. My GN came from Argo and it has 1700 miles on it today. Only new car I ever bought. Has 92 passes at the track though.
