    Winter is coming to an end- I hope this dude with the MOPAR has been jawing all winter. Now get out there and spank the ever living crap out of him. PLEASE take the video camera with you, I will need to send the video to my buddy who is building his 68 GTX, while I build my 67 Skylark. Sounds like we will be in the same boat!     Now what you should be saying is, "it doesn't matter which car I drive, I'll always beat you."

    I think you outdrove him, and I'll bet you would do the same behind the wheel of his car. That is a compliment to you for knowing your car.

    I know lots of drivers that insist on over-revving their cars, going slower simply because they believe they "should" go faster by shifting higher. My stage-1 at 5000 ft was quickest shifting at 5300. Haven't been to the track to prove out the Stage 2's yet, but it's alot higher!

    Update,

    the 440 ran 8.71 by seasons end last year
    the 455 ran 8.43 by seasons end last year

    440 is getting frame connectors upgrading from 2800 stall to 3000 and new trans and lots and lots of smack talk

    455 as far as 440 knows i am staying the same. and i know what he is getting because, i help install all his stuff he is afraid to touch the car. but anyway 455 is going from stock stall to 3000 stall new trans. adding poston front spoiler ram air kit. chaging from 800cfm eldlebrock witch i am told actually flows more like 650cfm holley to a demon 750 with i am told flows like an 850 holley and upgrading from stock HIE to the new 75 series mallery.

    i will post new results. first test and tune is 4/19/08 according to him he is going to be at least 2 cars in front of me. I just smile like i did last year and say "we'll see"
