Unless they find a way to get some products ready to ship,...we may lose the only performance outlet we have,....I been saying for awhile the writing is on the wall,...Mike Sr and Jr should use this site aggressively and yet we hardly ever hear from either. You can't keep paying overhead and not sell products
Bad things are going to happen to a lot of machine shops, engine builders and places like TA if the parts supply doesn't get better soon.
The primary issue is labor force, plain and simple. Unstable market and economy just amplifies the issues.
Guys. In the picture above. Notice the circle in the valve cover where a cap or breather might go then look at the trishield emblem on the battery. Id like something like that to affix in that relief area on the valve cover. Any ideas? One on the battery is to big to fit right.
How did you mount the emblem on the battery? Even if it's too big to fit exactly in the relief area on the valve cover, it may still look good if it's just covering some fins but not hanging over the sides? How big is the relief? OPG has 1 1/2" and 2 7/8" decals. https://www.opgi.com/decals/interio...er-cap-1964-72-buick-shield-1-12-sdb0327.html https://www.opgi.com/decals/interio...center-1964-72-buick-shield-2-78-sdb0176.html
I think it was Larry that did a Tri-Shield emblem on one of his valve cover breathers, that looks to be that size of that area Briz. Check with him on where he got it.
Its just glued on. Forget what I used on there. Its been years. That Optima has to be at least 8 yrs old . I got another hood ornament thats nicer than the one on the battery but still a bit bigger. Dont think a patch or sticker will give me the look Im going for.
Yes, I used the site John linked. They were great, it just took awhile to get them. The nice thing is they will make them in any size. I have a similar spot on my passenger Poston valve cover. On the other side, I put the sticker on my breather. The only potential problem with them, is they are in Ukraine
I bet that would be tough to walk around all day & sit down in a chair, then getting up out of the chair would be challenging.
God i hope not, she would sit down and her legs be a foot off the chair.......picture looks bad in my opinion, rather this be about the heads
I sure as heck hope not. I’m looking for a set of TA stage 1s or Edelbrocks or maybe a nice set of 1970 castings. Time will tell my friend. And I hope it comes back together for them. And edelbrock making heads too as an alternative for those who choose so.
