  2. In and effort to reduce the spam on the site, several years ago I had went to a program where I manually approve each and every new registration. This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

Buick Stock Appearing (BSA)

BSA is ‘Sorta Stock Appearing’. It is not intended to be only pure stock or FAST cars. (If it were, we’d likely have a very small field of either show cars or purpose built ‘ringers’). We peer tech the cars as a friendly and welcoming group of racers. We’ve run with this set of rules for a decade and included Electras, Wildcats, Skylarks, leSabres and numerous GSs, ranging from 10s to 17s in the quarter mile. The bracket system ensures every car has a fair chance at winning. The quickest qualifier has never been the winner, either.
If you’re interested in running this class, please ask questions about it. If your car is close to the rules but doesn’t exactly comply, ask about it. If you think the rules should be different and want to help us run the class, join us and explain why.

Two years ago Patrick told me I had to go through tech. I asked, what are they going to look for? He said, I don’t know. Maybe they’ll check to see that your battery is bolted down. Go figure, mine was not. My son and I very quickly rigged up a bracket to hold the battery in place. Not really needed. My car is not that fast. They didn’t check a damn thing in tech! The gang in stock class are a blast!
