Once Carl reveals what it is, it will probably become apparent that it was obvious all along. :Dou:

    Hmmm.....

    From a GS....

    Not your car....

    Going back on soon....

I think I better go through my baggies in my garage and see if I have one labeled without a part in it. You didn't, ahem, swipe a part from me a few weeks ago, did you Carl??? :pp

I think it's a throttle bearing retainer cap. Or the bearing for the input shaft to the steering box???

You are right Owen,it is off of Bob Christo's convertible- For you guys that don't know what Bob owns,it's a 1972 GS 455 convertible 4 speed. I know I'm driving you guys nuts,:eek2: but this is part of the fun.

I'll give you guys another clue: this part measures approx.2 1/4 inches in diameter and is about an inch high. It is made of rubber and has a metal reinforcement. Hope this helps.

    Still....can't....sleep....must....know....part....id...

    OK,

    1. Front end to frame mount/bushing, either for the inner fenders or the radiator core support.

    2. Steering column tube lower end bushing/bearing.

    3. Radiator lower mount bushing/isolator.

Is there a time limit to the pain???
