Once Carl reveals what it is, it will probably become apparent that it was obvious all along. ou: C'mon Carl, it's driving us nuts!
Hmmm..... From a GS.... Not your car.... Going back on soon.... I think I better go through my baggies in my garage and see if I have one labeled without a part in it. You didn't, ahem, swipe a part from me a few weeks ago, did you Carl??? p I think it's a throttle bearing retainer cap. Or the bearing for the input shaft to the steering box???
I got it.......... Don't know the name for sure but....don't know if I should wreck the fun.....o No: That makes two of us
You are right Owen,it is off of Bob Christo's convertible- For you guys that don't know what Bob owns,it's a 1972 GS 455 convertible 4 speed. I know I'm driving you guys nuts,:eek2: but this is part of the fun. I'll give you guys another clue: this part measures approx.2 1/4 inches in diameter and is about an inch high. It is made of rubber and has a metal reinforcement. Hope this helps.
Since yesterday... it still appears to be a coupling with flange off a big block GS part #7807052............. David
I Win! It's a thingamajig for a whatchamacallit! Or if I'm not right it's what The Old Guy said it was, cause he's always right, well almost always right on these trivia things!!:af: :ball:  :moonu: :beer :bglasses:  :blast: o No: :jd: ou:
Still....can't....sleep....must....know....part....id... OK, 1. Front end to frame mount/bushing, either for the inner fenders or the radiator core support. 2. Steering column tube lower end bushing/bearing. 3. Radiator lower mount bushing/isolator. Is there a time limit to the pain???
STOP THE PAIN!!!!!!!!! I'll send $10 to the board if you PM me the answer now Carl. God, please end the suffering:ball: D.
