Ok guys,here's the answer:


It's for the clutch pedal rod that goes through the floor and the bushing keeps it in place.I know this was a tough nut to crack,but it was fun.Thanks for your guesses.

 

No wonder it didn't look familiar enough!! All my stuff is 'auto'!!ou:

 

The picture really threw me off. The sleeve appears larger. In fact the whole part looks larger.
