So what do we do for fun at night? A giant bonfire of course. It’s only 75° outside at night time Tom. When the fire was smaller the kids cooked s’mores. Then we drank more beer and the fire got bigger and bigger. The reason there are really cool colors in the fire is because somebody brought magnesium to throw in the fire. That’s why you see the blue and green colors. What do we really do for fun. We blow up aluminum beer bottles. Screw the top on tight and throw it in the fire hoping that you don’t get hit by it when it blows up. I can tell you Bush light bottles make the wimpiest bombs, and Mic ultra bottles make the loudest bombs. I barely got hit by one piece of shrapnel. I didn’t even move. Oh crap, maybe I was passed out.
Unfortunately Sunday was pack it up, fill up another beer cooler, and get in the canoes. It’s only going to be 5 miles to the canoe outpost. These pictures show where we stopped for lunch. There were no alligators around so the kids got to go swimming finally. Yes Tom, the water was ice cold! The water was probably in the upper 70s temperature wise. My grandson is shivering as he eats his hamburger
One last party. We’re just about to the canoe outpost and we planned on stopping anyway. My son yells to me from his canoe, dad, let’s stop and have a safety meeting. The girl in the bikini on the shoreline, her husband next to her in blue shorts, and his buddy in red shorts all offered us Jell-O shots. I would’ve never expected ice cold Jell-O shots in the middle of nowhere. Some very cool people!
Last but not least, a shout out to my mullet mafia bro’s. They always love it when I send them fat girl pictures. Guys, I was thinking about you all. Here they are, girls that shouldn’t jump on trampolines.
Thanks for the entertaining photo montage and commentary John. Snow is gradually disappearing around these parts, although my lawn is still weeks away from its 2022 grand entrance. I also learned how to camp and cook with minimal gear. Just haven't done that for quite a few years. Tough to beat making your breakfast over an open fire, or cooking up a tasty fresh caught and filleted walleye shore lunch the same way. I once was known as "Designated Walleye Filleter".
Unless I beach about my wife, and I might, my next post will be April 3rd. We’ll be going to “Boats and hoes.” It’s a really nice, family oriented party. NOT!!!!!!!! Tom, you’ll like the pictures. I guarantee it!
I would, BUT. the wife needs to be back for work, and may not totally support me oggeling a bunch of half naked YOUNG women. She does support my reasoning that "just because your on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the menu"
Fred who said anything about half naked, that is a red flag. They are half dressed it's all about perspective. Safe travels home, when you go....
Good morning penguin fans. It is a little after 5 AM and I am talking very quietly. We’re going to boats and hoes today. There is a stalled cold front over south Florida. Yesterday it poured and poured. Lots of lightning too! Hopefully today won’t be as bad. We should make it in the water before the sunrise this morning.
