It's a dang AMC/Nash-Rambler conspiracy. I pick up my two copies of Hemmings Muscle Machines and Musclecar Enthusiast and there are two features on AMC's fer crying out loud. I come on the board here and there is a post dedicated to another AMC Javelin!

What is the world coming too?? Are there not enough Chevies left in the world that magazines have to start featuring ~other~ brands??

Next thing ya know, there will be a article on a Ford Falcon in one of those rags (and I know Frank Rice will be behind that one)!

Have no fear -- AMC is not stealing Chevy's limelight. It's stealing from Oldsmobile. Tell me how many times you even see the word "Oldsmobile" in the latest Hemmings Muschel Machines and Musclecar Enthusiast, let alone a feature article. :( Oh well. I like AMCs, too.

HA! They had a Olds cop car featured a few issues back, and don't forget that a OLDSMOBILE was voted their MUSCLECAR of the YEAR!

Next they'll feature a BUICK for gosh sakes! The world is coming to an end!!!:Brow:

MUAH hah hah hah hah hah hah !!!!!!!!........:Brow:

You caught me red handed Frank.

We got all the magazines to go along with us now.Yesssss!

The problem is that we are running out of cars, since there's only like 6 or 7 more AMC's left in existance to cover.:Do No::laugh:

Rusty, while I do like HMM,I'd have to agree that they need to bring the quality of their content up a bit. This is not a blanket statement about their coverage and content,as some is outstanding. They especially seem to get the" HMM Musclecars of the Year" right, and the Olds that won last year was a beaut.

Frank, now of those 6 or 7 AMC cars left,I'm not saying that one of those would never grace the cover one of the mentioned magazines? I'm not even saying that the color won't be "Big Bad Blue" or that it won't be a Go-pac 4spd car, with a funny thing attached to the trunk!
MUAH hah hah hah hah hah hah .........:Brow:

Leave it to Frank to look beyond the Hot Blonde and see the Honda.

If you did not own one, your man card might have been revoked.

I suppose that any publicity is good publicity, but ....

Their praise of the W-31 was faint. Reading between the lines, they were basically saying, "This car doesn't deserve the honor, but the readers voted it in."

And for the cop car you didn't have to read between the lines. They absolutely trashed it.

Call me Mr. Sensitive. I guess I don't like them kicking Oldsmobile when it's down. The pile of dirt above its grave hasn't even settled yet.

Wait ,I'm confused here.(Doesn't take much)

Generally an AMC thread, started by a Mopar scoundrel:cool: ,gets Olds hi-jacked by a usual suspect(not Dave H.):TU:,then gets peppered with Honda,Depends, and a Governors mole (chip) ,and Dave H. is the one to knock it back on the AMC track, with a photo of the Maskins and Kanners AMC Hornet.

I've got to go lay down.My head is spinning.

So in honor of the AMC/Mopar Mafia and to keep the AMC flame burning brightly into the night, here is the Master of Hornets!
