installing a new intake

    Kenny,the ones TA sent me are .60 also?should`nt they be thinner?i always used to use the stock type pan intake gasket which is alot thinner than the TA?

    George,
    If the .060's were too big you might need the .030's or .015's. The same thing happened to me and I used the .030's:Smarty:

    Thats the thing though,how do u know if they are too big?i always usually used the stock pan style which is alot thinner and never had a problem so i am assuming the .60 are too thick and that the .30 would work better?what do u think?:Do No:

    I think you should try the .030's gaskets.
    I think its too late now,but if you can throw the .060 gaskets on loosely and set the intake on,try to measure the gap with a feeler gauge.
    If you can't do that, I'm pretty sure your gonna need the thinner gaskets. :TU:

    I think i will need the thinner ones cause i noticed with the .60 gaskets the bolts will not go in easy at all so i didnt try to force it since its aluminum,when i take the gaskets off completely the bolts go in like butter so i may need the .30 intake gaskets,they will be here tomorrow i ordered them overnight delivery i`ll let you know how it works out.
