Hey that is my car. Yeah it sounds pretty good. There is another video of the car from the outside on youtube and you can really hear the engine breathing!!!

I don't know who owned the car, but it was a red 70 stage1 car, he was running a old KB 107 cam and Mickey Thomson headers. You could hear the intake valves open. It sound like somebody thur a stack of quaters in the headers. I was HOOKED!!!

Bad sounding Buicks but mine sounds badder. I run the Poston 107A hydraulic camshaft (window rattler) and people at the track come up to me (that are parked 1/8 mile away) and say they can hear the motor when I start it up. I'm running 2" headers with a 3 1/2 collector with dynomax bullet mufflers. Only wish I had a video/audio of the motor running. Bad thing is though, bad sounding motors don't win races, good drivers do.:3gears: :3gears:

I think the best sound of a motor comes out through the intake & carb, it is SO much sweeter than the exhaust sound.

    Just my opinion...

Baddest sounding Buick I ever heard was a V6. It was a Scott Brayton indy motor with the GTP fuel injection system. It was in a regal drag car. Made the rest of the race cars in the garage sound stock.

We went nuts with it fouling plugs until we figured out that you could not start it cold on the surface gap race plugs. I think the plugs were $20 bucks each and once fouled were junk. Finally just ran a standard spark plug. I think the car is still in Flint. This thing was way beyond any stock based motor.

I can tell you that bad motors need good oiling systems. Here are two of my solutions. Mean sounding or not I wouldn't fire this motor without an accumulator or the scavenger oiling system. These motors are way 2 expensive to not have some insurance. Just my two cents.
