Thanks. On that video I have a partly clogged needle and seat in the carb so she was loading up thats why on the video I floored it on the middle bulb then let off and re-floored it as the other bulb was going on. I was hoping to clean it out so there would be no bog. It worked. Here is an outside view on a different run same day. I would not say they are the baddest of a sounding Buick, but I would think its up there with them. Oh and like always I red lit...it was final round in the Buick vs. Ford Day at Atco, NJ., which is coming up this year on November 23. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/All-pure-Buick-powered-at_27029.htm
Looking at putting a +.030" 455 with Track Eliminator Stg 2 heads, KB Cool runner intake w/dominator. Looks close to yours, how streetable is your combo? Any hints on what to do or stay away from? Thanks in advance. Coach
Larry I like that run with Bruno, its a 2 for 1 video as you get to watch Dougs GS in the next lane.:TU: Gotta get some fresh ones at Atco next month.
Since Rick posted his specifics as to what he's doing when his car sounds that mean, I thought I would too! I transbrake my car to 5600, I shift it at 6800 and it crosses the line at 7300. It's a GREAT ride and it really is the thing I enjoy most in the world. :TU:
sounds sweeeeeet, did the track give u any crap over still having the new tire stickers on the fronts?
Nope....they were pretty much gone after that, we had just swapped the motor- loaded up and hauled a$$ to BG to make the Nationals....no time for small stuff!
Sounds good. Here's one not a Buick but you gotta like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmkvVZT5Cm8
One of my favorite videos, love the way it loads up for the green light I watch this a couple times a week! Dreaming...maybe one day I'll sell mine and go for something with a 455 <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://s101.photobucket.com/flash/player.swf?file=http://vid101.photobucket.com/albums/m79/69gs400s/gessler1099.flv"></embed>
