Lost 10 pounds !!!!!!!!!!!!! Weighed in this morning 241. I am cutting calories and lower fat intake. No more beer for a while either :Brow:
Started at 270 even... Now lost 4 lbs down to 266. I have an old scale but I figure if I just use it all the time the results will be the same. Maybe if I'm lucky,it will be off a few lbs too...lol I have been walking 2 miles a day and cut back on soda as well as sweets. I don't eat after 6 pm too. The only bad times I have is when plowing snow in the middle of the night. Need the Dew and coffee to keep awake. Also,I cut cigars out(more Buick money) Pat
Here's mine:226 lbs.Lost 3 the week before and only 1 this last week.Better than gaining but it was also my birthday weekend.Extra liquid calories.Back on schedule this week.
Well not much to report as far as lbs go yet, but I've changed my eating style and I'm running some extra electical in the basement so I can fire up the treadmill.
Weigh in on 1/16/2006 238 that is a 2lb loss. I am going to have to pick up the pace to make my goal. I have been traveling a lot as of late which I think makes it hard to stay on a good eating program. I will continue to work on it. No Mountain Dew for 2 weeks. At least that is a good start.
Slow Start Sat in training on my butt for most of last week staring at donuts, cookies, etc... Starting weight- 215 Now- 213.5
only 3 so far for me but eating routines are changing so hopefully that will pay off too! start 220 today 217
Better late than never :TU: Starting Weight: 286lbs by Doctors Scale Height: 75" (6' 3") Age: 22 Goal Weight: 245lbs, lightest I've been at this height is 235, and I was in Cross Country Bicycle Racing Condition.
Start weight: 250 Current weight: 246 Not great progress, but it beats still going up on the scale. I've been improving the diet (replacing pretzels with carrot- and celery-sticks), but still need to make time for exercise.
On Saturday I had lost a solid 4 lbs. Then went out to dinner AND dessert AND drinking. Yesterday morning, it was 2.5 - 3 lbs. Still not bad as I haven't made major changes. Started at X, now at X - 2.5. TIP: If you sit at a computer for long periods, use MS Outlook or another calender program to set up reminders to do things. I have mine pop up at 9 every morning to remind me to do stomach crunches (seated, isometrics). I'll do 10 or so, then "snooze" the reminder to pop up again in an hour. After a whole day, I've done 60 or 70 crunches sitting at the desk. It makes a big difference, but takes a while. Not like doing 100 on the floor every day, but it's not a big effort either. I am also using it to remind myself to do some arm exercises while sitting here, too.
Weigh-in #2 Is In Two Days / Feb.1st ! Are you guys still working hard on the weight loss? Weigh-in # 2 is this Wednesday , February 1st 2006! GOOD LUCK...BUICK BLOODS ! GSX Eric :3gears:
Working hard? I'm so sore I can't hardly move. This better be worth it. AND, to make matters worse, I found out that my bathroom scales are 20 lbs light!! So, my initial weight should be 390, not 370. :af: On the bright side, I have lost 6 lbs. 384lbs today at the gym. A LONG WAY TO GO. :ball:
You guys and gals are doing a great job! Keep up the good work. I peaked at 210 in the fall of 2004. I knocked it down to 189 by the summer of 2005. We had a four month run of nonstop OT at work, so I'd come home exhausted, eat a huge dinner, then fall asleep. (bad bad bad) So I went back to 195 by October. After seeing this post, I decided to get serious again. I was at the doctor a few days ago. 183!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I stand 5'10 1/2", so I'm thinking I'm near target weight. I haven't weighed this little in fourteen years!
