Okay - so that's 6 pounds down in the first month. Looks as if I'm gonna have to pick up on the exercises somehow if I'm to make more progress. Otherwise, I'm willing to bet that this would be as far as I could get.

Keep up the effort guys and gals. February is when most people toss the resolutions and fall back into the old ways. :spank:

Well since today is the OFFICIAL weigh in,I weighed this morning and the scale said 218 lbs.I've switched to eating 1 grapefruit in the morning before I get ready for work, then at work I eat another grapefruit and a salad with lo-cal dressing.Since doing this I've been averaging 1-1.5 lbs. evey couple days.No Foolin'But that's all I've been eating aside from a few Triscuits when I get home from work.Water to drink most of the time but I still have my 1 Coke a day.My only weakness.Woo-Hoo.@00 here I come.May even go to 195!!

    Way to go everybody! :TU:

I weighed myself this morning and I'm down to 202lbs. so that's about 3lbs.
I feel much better already just knowing that I'm eating right and running on the treadmill again. It's amazing how good you feel about yourself when you are making a effort to be healthier.

    Keep it up everybody. :beer

LOL.... funny thing is I weighed myself yesterday... still at 215(birthdays, and such). Then I ended up getting sick, and after spending the whole night retching and.. well, you know the other. Today I'm down to 207 :Dou: Not retching anymore, but still got the other problem... maybe down to 200 by tomorrow :pp

Who ever said that those dented soup cans were no good :Brow:

Official weight as of today is 207... I do expect to put some back on when I can start eating agian though.

I always wonder why people need a date like January 1st to stop smoking, or to lose weight  :Do No:

    setting a date to quit

When you set a date to quit or give up anything it prepares you mentally to succeed. My wife smoked cig. for 40 years and last jan. she told me she was going to quit on our sons birthday june 1st. and she did and it is now march 24 and she hasn't had one since and does not crave them either. my daughter guit without setting a date and lasted a month.
