I upload pictures to V8 taken by my I phone and send to my email all the time. So do others. For sure the Board is working.
Jim, you are a moderator so I doubt your user account has many, if any, limitations on it. I have feeling that we lower level users have a file storage limit imposed by the board software that is now less than it was in the older version, and needs to be raised.
Try it now Joe, I just eliminated the size limit on your attachement file, for your usergroup. (Gold level) BTW.. your limit was the same as Flynbuicks Now it is the same as Jim's.. JW
Success!It allowed me to upload this new picture (possibly a poor choice :grin, and then I hit the "attach inline" option. Thanks! I guess I was a heavy uploader in the past! Not looking for any special treatment Jim, so if there is a need to bring the limitation down, I could do the photobucket thing.
Works for me now also! No longer get exceeds limit signal. Would still like to know how to delete previous old used pics?
See pics: 1.) Select "Settings" at the top right corner of your browser window 2.) Select "Attachments" at the bottom left corner of the settings page 3.) Select "Show Thumbnails" at the bottom left corner of the attachments list 4.) The rest should be self explanatory.
Thanks, I followed your suggestions, and deleted individual pics that were part of a thread. One at a time, had already done that I decided in the past. What I would like to delete if possible are the images that show up when you use the manage attachments option and it shows all of your previous used pics that you can drag down, without useing the upload from your computor option for a new pic. I suspect there is no way to do that right there on the page that appears when you hit the manage attachment option to add a pic to a thread reply. The pics below are one new from my computor (Mustang) and one old from the drag down method (arm rests). At least I can now do either slnce Jim W. or someone increased my allowable storage limit. So I can navigate and add pics now, but in the future may exceed limit again. Seems like there should be a way to delete old pics that you will never use again and save data storage space.o No:
