    Question?

Frank, will these be yet available in colors other than black (I need a red one)?

And, how much will they be?

    Thanks in advance,
    Steve.

Frank, I'm fairly new to the board, but count me in, this post has been like traveling the yellow brick road, and trying to find a decent wheel seems to be the same kind of journey.

Just let me know when they are ready and shipping to 80919!!:TU:

I need at least 1 and maybe 2 black steering wheels for the 65 GS . The most important thing would be that it looks like new and original . I would think based on what I've read that a price of $349 to $389 would be most reasonable based on what I've heard a quality rebuild costs and the time it takes them .

66 skylark excellant condition probably could be used for making a mold for a repo.

Frank, It was nice to meet you at Carlisle. The prototype wheels look like they are getting very close.

I know you are going to make sure they are right before you give the OK for the production run. I figured I would mention that to everyone, because that is part of production process and you can not put a time table on it if you want it right.

Hope to hear an update as soon as possible.

    Thank you,
    Bob

I have had requests for different color wheels. What is your opinions that I just make a wheel that CAN be painted to suit your car? Frank

Frank, I am ready for a black one when ever they are ready. How close is the black steering wheel? Thanks Ed

I think a "correct color" black wheel would be super... and then people can paint to match their other interior colors (red, saddle, etc...)... My .02

How many different colors were available back in the day for these wheels? If you know please post the colors.

I'm not sure of the "exact" color names, but the steering wheels always matched the interior (except white?)... So the 64-66 steering wheels came in:

    Black
    Blue
    Red
    Tan/Saddle
Green [Gran Sports did not come in green interiors (?)]

Frank -- any word on when the black steering wheels will be completed?

    Thanks

Actually, there are more variations on the color:

    Black
    Dark red
    Medium Blue
    Light Blue
    Tan
    Dark Brown
    Light Green
Charcoal Gray (came in cars with white interior)

I think there may also have been a dark green, but I haven't seen one before--all the others I have seen before (I have at least one of each in my parts room except for the charcoal gray, and light green).
