I am not leaving the top ten without a fight !
I'm just outside this list now(13.65) but going to really try and get on it as this is the last year I'm running my Z.
Spent the day with Owen today Mr Brass. Two more 12.80's for Owen. We are pumped for Stanton this year!
nice updated list .Thanks again for the hardwork Donny
well this list certainly got shook up this weekend.........
from memory and not official:
Owen Simpson 12.74
Tom Payne 12.91
Donny Brass 13.07
Eric Maher 13.08
Benoit Holloway 13.13
Jeff Sawruk was there, I dunno if he improved
Ted Harbit was driving what looked to be 4 cars in the shootouts,
Tommy Cannon was there and I think he ran better
Frank Remlinger was loving the new tires
should be good reading when the official stas come out.
Ted certainly got a workout!
I believe he drove George's R3 to a 12.66 @ 114 on the last pass of the shootout. I'm sure we'll get the official update from Bob P soon.
yes he did. I mentioned that to him after our 2nd run. He ran 12.664 @ 114.03 vs me in 3rd rd in the George's R3
I was able to run a 13.39 at 104.72 on Saturday. I think I have brought the Duster for 3 years now and I have not changed one thing. I think the oil is the same. Has not been changed in three years but I did check it this weekend.ou: That said, I don't make it "stocker" and it goes faster every year. If I worked on it I wonder what it could run? It has gone a .20 before here at a more sea level track. What I find amazing is the car won't do a burnout but will slip and slide on the starting line and going into second. I sure would like to make a change for next year... Something that will do a much better burn out:TU: :TU: :TU:
congrats on that run Tommy..... that is a nice mph too.
Tom, dont you have any acorns out east:moonu:
I'm gonna start smearing peanut butter on my tailpipes in hopes of a few nutsray: ray: ray:
the small blocks are moving too.....
let me know if there are any errors or omissions........
McDowells 69 300 Deluxe Chevelle didn't make this list?
editing error... fixed
You may wanna shore up your data with TENTHS and HUNDREDTHS on your spreadsheet. Unless my W-31 was running a Rockwell axle in a Kenworth, a 4.7 is a bit of a stretch. Hint --- TWO decimal places on the rear axle column. Jus' sayin' ....... LOL
I can do that... sometimes excel has a mind of it's own
Ahhh..I can rest easy now..........
nothing official yet... but lots of changes coming.........
Owen Simpson ran 12.84, and several of us 'not quite in the twelves' little motor guys shuffled around
I thought my 13.04 was good, but Benoint topped that with a 13.03 and Eric Maher rung up a 13.02...........
