Such a huge loss.....Peter Simpson has passed on.

I want to send my condolences to the entire Simpson family during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will cherish the memories I have made the past several years with Pete. Racing will never be the same without him. Love you so much Peter and will miss you!!!

 

I just heard the news from a fellow Pure Stocker, it's very sad indeed. Prayers go out to the entire Simpson family.

My wife called me at work at 8 a.m. today to tell me this terrible news. I didn't know who she was telling me had passed, as right before bed last night I read and was overjoyed to hear he was doing better, this just can't be real??

I've had all day to think about what I would like to say about Peter, and now as I sit here I'm at a loss for words to describe what Peter was like to have as a friend.

I first met Pete and Jimmy at a Super Chevy Sunday event at Martin way back in 1991. Pete was,even back then, a walking Chevrolet Encyclopedia, and was a total blast to be around. He is not replaceable, his presence will be forever missed, and all future events and get togethers will be lacking without him.

My condolences go out to the entire family, I can't imagine the total feeling of loss you must be going through, and I will keep you all in my prayers.

Goodbye and God Bless you Pete, you will be missed, but you will NEVER be forgotten.

Amy and I didn't get to know Pete that well, but he treated us like we were long time friends every
time we saw him at a race or the Clary's Christmas party. It is a sad day that one of the Pure Stock
family has passed. Our condolences go out to the Simpson family! He will be missed.

I was sitting here at the shop and thought I'd check to see how things were going for Pete. I thought of him while reciting the Lords Prayer in church Sunday morning. I wasn't expecting to read this. From the deepest parts of me my condolences & heart felt prayers go out to his family. He was a great asset to the hobby as a whole and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
