Well, you also have the "Horse People" the cat people and the AKC Dog folks. But the winners in my book are the Barret-Jackson, two place Thunderbird folks. My buddy, John, raced at Stanton in '06 has two and even he giggles about some of their antics. ou:

 

Whole swarm of those 2 seat Tbirds being auctioned online from Grand Rapids. Rowell, Inc going out of business, have been selling everything off for weeks through the Mediema online auctions, now into his car collection. Lots more than just Tbirds, too.

One of my friends' wives had one of those Playboy Mustangs. She fit the bill, too. :Brow: :Brow:

Just to ruffle some feathers. They should not allow Corvettes in the PSMCDR, They are classified as a sports car. Heck the NHRA wouldn't allow them in some of their stock classes. I'm not a hater, I have had four of them, a 65 original 350 hp 4 speed, a 71 454 ac 4 spd convert, a 78 and an 80 L82. Non of them ever gave me the enjoyment of my Stage1.

I guess I don't get it. If you are lined up against a car running the same ET as yours; what difference does it make if it's a Vette? If a Stude spanks you are they next on the "non-musclecar" list?

 

I can live with Corvettes. But I think the Diego (442W30) needs to be sanctioned for put a picture of frickin PINK Mustang on our forum. My eyes are burning just from seeing it. Then I had to go puke. Finally went to the frig and pulled out 2 IPA's. I'm on the second one now so I think I will survive. I am hoping that if I kill the brain cells quick enough I won't have nightmares.

 

Wow, you guys are harsh. I must say though, at this point, I never talk to corvette owners at shows, cause the conversation always ends with: ah yea, I had so and so do the resto or I bought it from this guy so I don't really know what that is for. Half these guys can't even change their own oil:grin:

If I could get my hands on an L88 or an LS6clone, without busting the 401k, I love to would love to race it in PSMCDR. I still follow the Corvette market. Smuggle Rusty into the trunk of whatever vehicle you're bringing to Martin. Give him a case of wheat beer and a cell phone and he'll keep himself occupied all the way over. We'll figure out what to do with him and prep him for the return ride once here.Could be , though, that a good weekend like this will help get his mind right and learn the knack of professional pandering to the real boss at home and get off the leash more often.

Are 427 shelby cobras just to valuable for someone to campaign in pure stock?
It sure would be funny to see a vette waxed by a FORD :laugh:

 

Didn't think of that...why are they out? EVERYBODY would be yelling if the Cobras played.
