Your right to a point. Having the P/S rules applied to the Martin F/S race made things consistent no questions between Stanton and Martin. It's too bad "others" didn't do the same not only for F/S but also for F.A.S.T. Kinda like a franchise...the customer knows what to expect. Regarding the Camaro on this thread, I for one don't give a rip what he runs. If he passes tech bring it on. If he doesn't sorry.
and Wow, it has been handled by the organizers/tech people...... better this than 5 guys towing 800 miles to have this discussion in person....or do you not agree ???
Donny: You or Paul post the pic of his car with Linda Vaughn that I saw a coupla years ago. I never tire of seeing them/her. :bglasses: With enough of Bruno's lamb-kabobs, we'll all agree to anything. It's worth towing 8 hours just for that!
New Rules??? Is there changes to the rules That I can get I am trying to finish my chevelle and I would hate to go out there and find out I can't run? Thanks o No:
Yeah....................... :TU: :TU: :TU: First met her in 1966, should have seen her then. :Brow: :Brow: :Brow:
Blonde If I have to look at another Chevy, I'll only look if she's in the picture too. Yes on the rules Brian, What works at Martin and Stanton is fine. I won't tow to Jersey to see a thirty year old "Stocker" run tens. Keep it real.
PSMCDR Rules Simply build the car to the Pure Stock Musclecar Drag Race Rule's, and you can run the car anywhere, anytime. In a nutshell if everyone used the same set of rule's, we would have no more question's/issue's, but some people are just smarter than the average bear, right Boo Boo? :Smarty:
Here is a more current pic of me and the Impala although you all pretty much have seen it... like this one a little more just wish linda was there lol... http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/4506/p1010100bv9.jpg
If I may interrupt this train wreck... I think it might be a good idea to put a note of some kind on the FAST page in the heading of the Factory Stock rules that the Stanton PSMCDR rules are in effect in Martin...and maybe that COPO Pete is the ram rod of the tech there...
Paul what an amazing change you have done in losing all that weight. And your family has to be thrilled with all the extra years you will be around. Congrats as that was obviously no easy thing to do. Now the car and you look great even if Linda is missing :beer Back to the beat up Donny program and olds highjacks. ou: Mark
Thanks mark I feel great hopfully I can test out that 1/2 sec thing this year if it all comes together.lol But I have to say buying Large shirts v.s. 4XL is still a little weird for me lol.. Paul
Linda! Paul, You're a mere shadow of your former self, Wish I could say that. The photo is saved by the F-150 in the background! Friend of mine had a '67 post 427 like that, sorta. Hit a stopped train with it on drunken night in Ohio. Knocked an empty freight car off the rails. He was alright, but the Chevy was toast. Is this car a 425 HP ? Linda is at least 425 hp, probably more!
