    69 GS Fireglow paint color

I went to a benefit show last week in the GS350 in Florida NY, the ride there was nice and uneventful. On the way home stop for coffee and when I started the car back up, it took awhile for the oil pressure to come up and stayed at 25 psi except when stopping for a light where it would drop to about 10 psi. I get home and check it out and the bottom is covered with oil. Will have to give John C a call. GS is parked till I can get it fixed.

This Wednesday the GS will be dropped off at Uncle John C's, The heart transplant will take place to stop the external bleeding and improve the little 350 to perform to its max.

The Buick Doctor called today and advises that the internals of the LiL 350 are shot, so will most likely be rebuilding fresh from the inside out.

I have been thinking on painting the top that chromatic black like seen on the new Cadillac. since my paint code calls for a black vinyl top but I don't want to cover the roof with vinyl, so the next best thing is to paint it.

The car is at the Buick Doctor getting the LiL 350 redone, I decide to hold off on painting the roof of the car for awhile, anyway. The important thing is to get running like new first, with the help of the Buick Doctor. The engine is back in the car and running, just taking care of some other work while it's there, like rear axle seals, brakes and a little detailing. :TU:

Today was in the high 50's, started to pull the GS350 out to start cleaning and detailing it, as soon as the garage door was opened, it started raining.

Today Cinco De Mayo, took the GS350 to the Rhinebeck Spring Dustoff. With the new rubber and wheels, the car ran great, I'm pleased.

Today I attended the Buick Show @ Goldstein Buick in Albany, New York.
There were Buicks from 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, to the present. The GN's and GS's were put together in the same class. Everyone that cme up to the car would comment on the color.

Every time I take the GS 350 out to a cruise or show, I'm amazed how different the car looks depending on the light reflecting off of it. Tonight went to a local cruise and the car looked different with the sun behind it.

i took mine out for its 2 mile maiden voyage. i got a new top installed and am finally getting the interior together, i just need 3 male seatbelts for the back and install the back seat and i think im about done, except for some small things. its been a long 3 year resto but it will be worth it when its done.

it is cool to see the color change when light hits in different directions.
