The remainder of the rubber went in this afternoon, as well as the rest of the interior. Next on the list is to paint the headlight doors, grille trim, and quarter extensions so I can mount the bumpers. I have a guy lined up to do the vinyl top as soon as I can drive it over there. It will probably wait until I get the hood and trunk painted and installed, though.
Well Done! I resemble the 455 grill emblem touch, sweet looking. I wish the A hole I paid to just straighten my front bumber got it right, but did not...your's look spot on!!! Keep the updates coming! MarkO
I got lucky with the bumpers on this one They are laser straight and the chrome is pretty much spotless. Rear bumper and quarter extensions tomorrow morning!
Adam, You realize that you're going to get tired of that "A" body and go back to your passion.....right? Please give me the first shot at this Skylark when this happens....OK?? Steve
Thanks! Not yet...it needs brake work, too. I have my work cut out for me to get this done before September. The BCA national is this coming week, too. So no work on the car. You know my car ADD well. I always like to think I will stick to the same car when I buy one. I thought I'd never sell the 60, but now I am having visions of fixing it and making a bunch of $$ on it.ou: The problem with that car, is that it has a ton of rust.
Thanks! I am really starting to get itchy to put it on the road. Can't wait for the vinyl top to go on. That will be next month.
Adam , I was in such a rush to get shop work done b4 leaving for training last week that forgot to mail moulding but it WILL be on the way tomorrow. Car looks awesome BTW, I would start with a full-size brake booster that small diaphragm booster has got something hokey going on imo
I looked at all of the brakes and decided that the booster would be a good starting point as well. Car looks way nice..
