Any intrest in a PSMCDR style race in July or Aug

CJ the week after the Mopar Nats is Woodward cruise weekend. A lot of guys like me have friends come in (that our PS racers) for that and would miss. A large part of the AMC contingent meets as Rich C. has spots for us all in down town Birmingham.

I know everyone is piling on with competitive dates. I hate to see that but after seeing what everyone has posted no wonder it is tough getting us all together in July and Aug.

Again Good luck, as I would love to see it work out.

That's prime fishing season. We're going to be on Lake Michigan putting Salmon in the cooler.

I would be interested in a Pure Stock race at Muncie Dragway unless it conflicts with the Mopar Nationals in August.

I am waiting to hear back on the details fom Muncie Dragway.They sound very receptive to a friday afternoon and evening and sat racing ending on sat afternoon in aug 17-18. They will do a nice job preping the track .Even on test and tune night they really seem to do a good job .I have run a personal best 60 ft time of 1.96 and that was before I got the car dialed in proprerly. I hope if this does become an event that alot of you will come out and race.I will try to answer any questions and help out where I can .I will give out more info when I get it.Thanks Steve:3gears:

 

I can and will make that date. Problem dates for Oldsmobile people are the last three weekends in July.

Anyone need a pic of an Olds posted so you remember what they look like? Be glad to help out.

IT looks like the race will happen a friday afternoon and evening and saturday morning to early afternoon.I talked with the guys at Muncie dragway today it looks like we are welcome to have a PSMCDR on Aug 17-18 .I will have more details coming .Thanks Steve:3gears:

 

Sounds good. I think I just might have to skip the Woodward Dream Cruise to go drag racing, that is of course if I have enough money for the race, a hotel room, and gas to feed the tow vehicle. Money is tight right now but later in the summer I hope it gets better.

 

Muncie is ok, but that weekend is the "Back to the Bricks" Cruise in Downtown Flint, MI and it's calling my name, was a blast last year!:3gears:
