Any intrest in a PSMCDR style race in July or Aug

Hey, I'm not trying to make any enemies here by my thoughts and comments, so don't take it the wrong way. I hope it does work out for Steve at Muncie Drag Way:TU: . Greg Jones put a race on a couple of years ago and I heard he almost lost the farm by trying to do a June race. I think he only had about 25 to 30 cars. Then there was another guy who use to put on a race at Norwalk. Can't remember his name. I went to it one year and I believe there was about maybe 60 to 70 cars. What ever happen to that event? I think June,July,and August is so busy for everyone. I know it is for me.:3gears:

 

no he didnt lose anything, he had two options of how to rent the track, he could lay butt-ton of cash and get the money for people that showed up or kil-kare could get the money from people showing up. so it wound up not getting many cars and the owners of Kil-Kare got into a fight and it was a big mess. The owners of Kil-Kare are nothing short of douche bags. but it worked out for the best, kil-kare is a POS anyways

Norwalk is the first purestock event I went too, I wish it was still going on, I like martin and everything, but Norwalk is such a nice facility. I'd really like to see a june event there again:3gears:

I just recieved the 2007 Muncie Dragway schedule in the mail today. It lists the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag Race on August 17th and 18th.
