I just got through with a few more of thses that will go out this week includign Patton Glades 72. Man 72's are tough to do.
Dave- Here's pics of my original for reference (if you need it). Posts 10 and 12: http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=71507&highlight=door+tag Thanks!
That is exactly how I was going to do it Ken. I will get right on it............Everyone else who sent me money should have theirs on the way.........I had some envelopes weighed at the psot office as I Insert some thin cardboard so they don't bend. The woman at the counter charged my a stiffness fee of 20 cents. What kind of bull is that? No joke. The weight was even OK.
Mine are great, thanks, stiffness fee?? there seems to a fee for everything, that is crazy....... I could say something but .........
That's why I sent you a little extra...to cover incidentals. I still think you should be getting more for all you are doing here. Thanks again!:beer
Just opened Saturday's mail to find my new decal. My only criticism is that I didn't send enough postage to pay for the "stiffness." I kinda feel bad. There are so many jokes available but so little time... I think the postal service is running a scam on this. Anyhow, the decal is spectacular and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you so much Dave for taking this on.
All the stiffness jokes went through my mind the instant she said it and no she was not cute Ken. Ever seen a cute postal worker? Hope no one is married to one.o No: I cannot beleive the decal made it to the Netherlands already. Anyone else sending payment who has not yet? I need to order some more blanks.
YES YES YES...hehe still celebrating from my game saturday. Check is wrote out and I will get it out tommorow.
As a matter of fact, the girl who used to have my delivery route was tremendously cute. And as I found out, tremendously married. As it turned out, she didn't wear a ring at work because she lost her first one in someone's mail box. But I just had to ask....I just HAD to.:Brow: BTW the decals look great. Good job Dave!
Glad you like it Jim. ....Funny you mention it as I saw a real good looking girl on a deilivery route today. Had long legs and long dark hair. God shape as well from all that walking. The ones in the office sit on their duffs all day.
Got mine! Thanks, Dave! As all the other reviews have said- it looks great! You're a perfectionist and an asset to the resto of these cars. :TU:
Thanks Ken I will keep on trying my best. My car is very close to going to the shop finally by the way. Stripping final items now. Amazing how much stuff you have when you start taking outinterior door parts, headliner stuff etc. I can barely move in my garage now.
Dave, Before I launch into my meticulous install of the decal please fill me in. The blue part has stickum on it under the backing, right? I just don't want to damage this thing trying to peel something off something else only to find there is no peeling involved. Thanks.
