I just called legendary to order a trunk mat for my car. I also took the opportunity to let them know that I want a set of original repop floor mats and that I've heard they are working on it. I spoke with "Dick" on the phone and he said they are NOT making them now, and are NOT EVER planning to make them in the future. He said they have their current offereings and that's all they plan to offer for floor mats. This was NOT what I was hoping to hear. Just sharing my experience from a phone call this morning at 9:20 am.....
Rob, Thanks for making the request and that is not unusual for the salespeople to get fed up and say something like that to get some relief but his boss and the owner of Legendary has a completely different word on that. Again thanks for calling though so when management and sales meet on this the sales people can be witness to all the requests :TU:
:Brow: Okay, I have his (the owners)personal cell phone and just left a voice mail, so maybe we can get a firm answer this week. Told him we have the preorders he requested and we have lots of people needing mats for up coming shows and his salespeople are telling them they aren't being made. That should get some action
Thought I'd post the email I just received from Legendary because I know Rob was concerned (have no fears though:TU: 0. They called be back on that question (Why sales didn't know) and told me they never tell sales about it till it is ready to sell. Anyhow good news in the email I'll copy ya'll on: "John, How's everything going? It sounds like you are doing a great job at getting pre-orders on the floor mats. I spoke to Marty today and asked him about the expected completion of the floor mat Product development work. As I told you last week, they are working hard on fitting them into their crazy schedule! Marty says they should be able to go full speed on these in 2 weeks and approx 30 days to complete after that. I am sorry if this is taking longer than expected. I will keep you updated if I find out any new information. Thanks again and I will talk to you soon. thanks again for all your hard work on this. i haven't read through here completely in a little while, is there a confirmed price on these yet?
I could use a set of 4 in black, as long as the Tri Shield is white not dirty brown like the mats I've seenfor sale. Also ditto on the NO U.P.S. shipping.
