Yes Sir, Got the call back before lunch that they are going to shoot for samples end of next week. Then just need to confirm all the old and new (and everything in between) committments to purchase, so they have the numbers they need to start pumping these things out. Sure will be glad when it is a matter of just picking up a darn catalog to order these, what a pain in the butt, and I am sure it still was much easier than it could have been to pull this off. Just glad I had a good deal of time to devote to it, and babysit since last year. Like I have said though I just want to see those new mats in my carray:
I was at Carlisle this past week and stopped by their booth and spoke with a gentleman there about them and he told me the same thing. The interesting thing he stated was that after some intial run the price would go up prob to about $219? I was wondering if the orders were going to be taken in the order they were posted on this thread. Or do we all call them? Just wondering.
Rick, They will be discussing with me how they want the ititial order handled more than likely next week. Their President and I have only discussed $175 "ish" so I'll need to ask the owner about this future $219 price increase. When I have more info on ordering I'll let everyone know:TU:

Well if they are taken by the order of this thread, everyone could be given the op to edit their original request and type in a standard phase to confirm, like Confirm 1 black set or something to that effect. That way whoever is keeping track will know who went back and who is no longer interested if any. Just giving ideas, I'll get a set eventually.
Carl ,what they told me originally as I was talking them into making them for us was, it would take them two months to be able to go into full production. I know they had some delays as the mat design required more attention to reproduce correctly, and I don't know based on that where there "2 month" clock started. I just left a message on the General Managers cell phone to call me with that detail as well as, how they would like us to place our orders. As soon as he let's me know I'll be posting it for ya:TU: Feeling like I am waiting for Christmas morning or something as a kid!:laugh:

Okay, have an update from the General Manager at Legendary: The first samples are still on track for the end of next week. He said it should be about ONE MONTH after that for production. I am negotiating us a window of time (hopefully a couple of months) and a special code to get them at the "$175 ish" price. As was mentioned by Rick a few posts ago their manager confirmed the price may go up after this initial order. I am working on getting us a window of time rather than only a set amount of first orders so there will be no panic about some people coming in late on committing:TU:
