I completely agree that Arafat is the big problem. I remember that near peace they almost had. It was very demoralizing. Please don't think I have all the answers either. I obviously don't. Only faith in what I believe.

Also, nobody seems to be bringing up how France and Germany and Russia as well as the U.N. had their hands in the oil for food scandal. There were a couple U.S. corporations as well, but nothing to the extent of France and Russia. If anybody's reputations should be trashed it should be theirs. It just seems more fun these days to trash the U.S.

The sanctions may have even worked if these countries were actually letting them work and not undermining the effort by giving Saddam food for oil. This whole war may never have happened if the sanctions were allowed to work. That's why I laugh when people blame Bush for the war. :spank:

I don't get the hate on moore at all. He's pointing out the mistakes that the press hasn't and he get's put on people's "shiznitlist" for it? Also, if you haven't seen the movie, you can't say crap. Bill mahrer just had some republican guy on a few weeks ago and he was talking all this shiznit about F9/11 and bill asked him "have you seen the movie?" and the guy (afer trying to dodge it and bill asking him about 4 times) finally gave up and said "no, I haven't".

"The movie is unpatriotic, it puts america down." Considering it has interviews with politicians and soldiers for 2/3s of the movie, you're only calling them unpatriotic and that's just stupid.

Moore is getting young people to vote, something the republicans can't stand because young people don't like war since we would be the most likely to go off and fight it! I'd rather have the BILLIONS we spend there every month go back into OUR country where it belongs!

Well it was 4 months ago or so that F-911 was released, and looking at the way things are going election wise, I would say my prediction way back in the begining of this train wreck thread will be proven correct. Most people in this country don't need propaganda shoved in their face to chose a president.

Well I am sucked into this crazy thread and need to give my opinion on somethings.
First someone earlier in the thread said Bush was evil. My opinion is this.
The Bible says we are all sinners, thus no one is perfect. However...
Bush is against killing human life before it comes out of the womb. Kerry is not. God said it best in the Ten Commandments....Thou Shalt Not Kill. How much more clear do you need it? That's just one example!

Second Michael Moore is a lost soul in great need of God. I completely disagree with everything the man says and so does the Bible. I come from the teaching that if it doesn't line up with God's Word you should probably not do it. I'm not going to say much about him but I will say he should look to the God that this Country was founded upon.

Third Michael Moore should be banned from the Country for treason. I don't know about you guys but I don't like a guy bashing my Country and if he don't like it here he can take a one way ticket out! That goes for anyone, not just him! There has been way to many lives taken for our freedom for someone to bash our Country. It's not fair to the men, women, and families of our great nation.

Fourth This thing about separation of church and state. Why do so many people misinterpet this? It was put there to keep the government from establishing a state or government church.. Not to keep religion and God out of Government completely. Thus the freedom of religion. That's why so many people in the Iraqi areas are Muslim because that is the state religion.

Fifth I ask all those that believe in and fear God and pray to do so ever so much.
The Bible says that... if My people which are called by My name will humble themselves and turn from there wicked ways then I will hear from Heaven and will heal there land.
God can't Bless America until we start blessing Him!
How can a Just and Holy God keep protecting a Nation that has turned it's eyes off of the One who made it great?
All through history it has taught us this yet we ignore it. We take the Bible out of schools and court rooms and public places.
Tell me why the Ten Commandments should be taken out of a Court room? If you kill someone and feel guilty about it after reading the Commandment then to bad buddy! Our laws are based upon them. Where else do we get the foundation of what decides wrong and unmoral behavior? The Bible says that... without God man does what is right in his own eyes. You must have a foundation to build upon!

The Bible says... A house divided against itself can not stand. That means a Country also.
No matter who we have as our leader we should always respect the man God has put in the place of leadership. I know even that's hard for me to swollow.
The Bible speaks about that also but I have to stop somewhere.

America is in my prayers and so is Michael Moore and others.

Just for your info. Steven Baldwin just became a Born Again Christian and for some reason stopped voting the Democratic ticket! He said... "I will vote for the man I believe will be most lead by God." I guess the news media knows who that is! Since they labeled him as a Bush supporter now.

I don't know why Bush doesn't play the God card more, except he has more respect for God. PBS has been running a long show about both candidates. Which is super fair n balanced.

all the stuff Bush did as a kid, was before he was saved. He was a sinning unbeliever till he meet Laura. I believe she was one too. Bush said clearly in an interview that nothing he did till around age 32 was to become president. He wasn;t groomed for the job and didn't live his life to become one. Actually he didn't even care.

But after he got saved he started to care about this country and wanted to change things.

Anyone who has faith and holds someone responsible for stuff they did before they were saved, should take a long hard look in the mirror.

There is a whole system of checks n balances. A president is pretty much powerless with out their consent. I actually think the president is more of a figure head for our country. Its the same as electing a class president. Who do you want to represent you?

Presidents of any kind, once in office find them selfs pretty powerless to change without giving in the other direction some.

No way Kerry will ever change anything for the good. He will just make it worse.
He is not a strong leader. he is the type that will try every day to talk it out with the bully as he gets punched in the nose. and every day he again trys to talk it out, which just gets him punched harder.

Bush might take one punch in the face but after that, its go time.

America is the new Texas. We will kick your ass.

 

Also MM charges for every thing he does, while whining loud and long about rich people and capitalism in general. He is coming to a local college and charging $20,000 to speak. At some universities he charges $40,000. The guy is as phony as that $200 GW Bush bill that is floating around out there. He gets rich like reality TV producer do. He only reason to push buttons is for fun and profit.

Case in point. he is suing cause some cable channels will not put his movie on pay per view before the election. He is suing cause they will not run his must see movie on pay per view and it voliates his rights. If he really gave a crap, it would be on network TV for free. Oh MM wants you to see it but pay up sucker.

 

Maybe the election debates should be on pay per view also???
