You would really have to go and check it out yourself in person.

Dans is no hurry to sell. I would not go by how long the car has been for sale. The problem is the lack of interest in our cars hate to say that but I think it's looking that way if they're not dead on perfect examples they don't bring the big money except The white 70 G S stage one convertible that just sold for $168,000 at mecum and that car was not perfect. Was very easy to see what was wrong with it from the pictures. But it was one of one.

The only real difference on the early B4B manifolds was that they were for a holly carburetor only and they also had notches on the side. It may be that Dan just likes the chrome air breather better then the ram air breather.

You may be correct unfortunately and I've thought the same. Several factors playing into that namely demographics and the current performance offerings of new cars. Back in the late '80's/early '90's, me and the guys I went with were the young kids @ the Nationals and relatively speaking, the cars weren't that old and other than TR's, there wasn't anything produced since that had any performance. At last year's Nationals, after a 20 year hiatus, I was probably still amongst the younger ones there.

Mine had both Holley & QJ patterns.

The early B4B 68 -69 Stage 2 intake were Holly bolt pattern only.

    Thanks
But I'm not one to worry about gas prices.
I have a buddy who always calls me and says hey the gas station on the corner of blank and blank has it for 375 a gallon.
    I always tell him I don't care I don't think about it...
I'm not rich what so ever but I just don't need to worry about that if I did I would drive a Prius or something similar.

They bought the GSX new in August of '70 and my understanding was almost immediately put the intake and headers on it. I got the original exhaust manifolds with the car and they still had traces of paint on them. Nicest ones I've ever seen.

You are correct. The only intake in the stage2 package was the early B4B and Holley pattern only. That is what I got in April '69 for mine.

Cannot believe what the white 70 stage 1 vert went for 167,500! The announcers stated that the owner was well known for promoting his own car show and for his perfect restorations.

I actually ended up buying this car. Its a nice car, I'm pretty excited. I found it first here on v8buick in another thread, before I found this one.

Congratulations on the purchase of your car. A well documented, numbers matching 70 stage one is very hard to find Drive it like you stole it Lol.

Totally did, over in members rides.

Haha thanks. It needs some things, but its a really solid start. Like you said, numbers match documented cars, theyre rare. Even if I dump money into it, I'm ahead of the game if I have to sell.
