I got my spare 455 down to just the block, getting ready to take it to the machine shop next week. The timing cover was a huge PITB. But we got it off. Looks like I am going to have to get an aftermarket timing cover

    Tyler,
Have you done a front end alignment? Ask around for alignment specs from different racers.

I have said we need to align the front end multiple times to my dad. He tells me we need to wait until we add the rear sway bar.

I think we are going to get it aligned soon, sway bar or not it will get aligned!

Tyler, When you get your alignment done let me know what the specs are. Somebody on one of the Buick boards had posted some front end specs for drag cars but I can't seem to find the post.

    Thanks,

Got my nitrous stuff today, but the car is still at the body shop. Body work should be done today hopefully, and I should get it back completed in 2 weeks. Or sooner, I hope.

I was wanting to, but the right tire is rubbing the frame. :af: I will have to notch it tomorrow, and then take that picture/video. :TU:

What are the specs on the motor?>

It is a pump gas 464, forged pistons, 10.25 compression, stock rods, stock crank, ported edelbrock aluminum heads, SPX intake, pro-form 950 carb, 1 7/8 headers, TA 286-08HL cam. The engine was built to be for my daily driver on pump gas. It is not a race engine, however a ten second street drivable car is not bad.

Tyler, What size wheel and tire are you running in the front?

The front wheel is 15x4. with a Mickey Thompson sportsman frontrunner. 26x7.5" tire I believe.
