    Curt-

All of the pictures show wheels with the 5x4.75" bolt pattern. Can you do this with the 15x6" wheels that have the 5x5" bolt pattern? The centers of the 5x5"wheels are a little different than the 5x4.75" wheels.

Man, I feel like I owe you money fro free advertisement. Thanks You for the nice feedback on the Buick wheels. You did a better job than I did showing them. Like I said , original centers cleaned up and into new rimshells any backspace. I am glad you like them. When you order the other 2 15 x 7s, You get 20 free New chrome lugnuts. Again, THANKS, Curt!!

Yes, as long as your car has original style diss. You can;t belive the amount of people that call up and want 15 x 8s and I ask them if they have changed braking system;. Well I only put on these little ol BAER 13" disks in the back. Sorr. But originals work fine, no problem!!

Curt will certainly have to answer this, but my guess is it probably can't be done, since the 5 x 5 is a "one-piece" wheel, rather than a center and rim wheel.

    Curt,

I am happy to provide feedback about your wheels. Good work and fast service mean a lot. I'm not looking for anything in return. You'll find that the people on this board are willing to share information regarding good products. We like to help each other make good decisions when spending our hard earned money. There are other wheels available that are excellent quality also, yours are the first that I have personally purchased. It's up to those looking for the wheels to choose their supplier.

I updated the e-mail in the post above.:TU:

One other thing Curt, when you reply to someone's post here, if you select the "quote" button at the bottom of the post, you will find thet their text will come up in your reply. Then you just put your cursor below the text and type your response. This way we will know exactly who you are responding to (Just like you see in this post). I know you are new to this site and will pick up the tricks the more you visit here.

Please provide updates to your products on what is available as you get the cores for the Buick rallye centers. I would say if you go ahead and make several sets of 15 x 8's 4.5" backspacing, and several sets of 15 x 7's with the factory backspacing, you would probably sell all you can make.

    Thanks again.

I figured it probably can't be done. But they are two pieces, just welded together about half way between the bead surface on each side. It may be possible to cut the original weld and then re-weld it onto a wider back half, but then this would affect the back spacing?

I have a pallet of 96 rimshells coming in on the 10th. I am getting 30 Buick wheels from a buddy of mine in 3 days. It looks like I have my work cut out for me.10 15 x 8s at 4.5 and 8 15 x 7 should start me pretty good don't you think??? Send pictures of your car when you get th wheels mounted and I will ut in my computer scrapbook. Thanks again!!!

Oh contrar!! Thats French. The 15 x 6 is a 2 piece wheel that is put together then the weld bead was ground down smooth. Then the whole wheel was chromed. Yes, I can pop that center out and make into a wider wheel but the bad part is it is put together from the front side. So if you wanted to add an inch(6" wheel to a7" wheel) you gain all the width on the backside. A lot of guys then put on 1/2" spacers to push tire out. But the sad news is after you put wheel together, you still need to chrome complete wheel again! Pricey, pricey!!

I ordered my MT tires, they won't be at the tire shop until Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be able to get pictures by Wednesday. I'll send the pictures to your e-mail. I'll call you on my 15 x 7's (4.25 b.s.).

    Thanks

Well I think I'm sold. Great thing is I've got at least 10 14" ralleys stored with the car. I'll be in touch later this summer, perhaps I could drop the wheels off on my way to Chicago towards the end of June.

My tires came in today, so I took the 15 x 8 wheels that I got from Curt to get the tires mounted. The wheels were checked by Harlow Racing Tire and they told me the wheels were perfectly straight and balance was good. They checked them before mounting the tires. The weights needed to balance were due to the tires and not the wheels. One tire took about 1.5 oz and the other was 2.5 oz.

The pictures below also show the difference between the BFG 235/60R15 (26" dia.) and the Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials P275/60R15 (28" dia.). Also, the MT's are directional and need to be mounted left and right according to direction marked on tire. The pictures on the car are not the best since I have the jacked up and on stands with my fuel tank out.
I'll post a picture of the car on the ground when I get the tank back in.
